  1. Hello guys, just been and bought my first ever paddock stand, so i can get under the bike a little more easier and sort chain and grime out..... Sounds stupid but i'm having difficulty knowing how to really set the bugger up and it doesn't look too safe..... is that in the right place though? Paddock doesn't seem aligned, and if i put it even further on the swingarms, it'll hit my stubby. Should i remove the springs? Or is it the fact i'm not leveling the bike before doing it? will try that tomorrow infact.... Edit: so i have bobbins, is it really worth getting hooks for them?
  2. From brighouse here, won't be out for a couple of week due to starting a new job, so sorting finance out to see how i cope a month changing weekly to monthly pay, but after this month, i should be free most weekend's depending how we are. might be able to put a hour in this weekend.
  3. If you decide to go the twin route, i can post my end can sound with baffles in and out. not a massive roar on a ic4 though!
  4. Hey shirl, you will have better luck posting this in the ride out section viewforum.php?f=33
  5. Big relief. Its funny, now I have met you (and the others) I hear your voices when I read your posts And then with me you just picture me in my dragon onesie eh?
  6. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200888173464? ... 1497.l2649 That's what mine was 80L for less than £15
  7. which was the minor one, and nope, there was no speeding whatsoever Glad you made it home sound! Never asked, as you was behind me would the exhaust be too loud if pulled?
  8. Personally, i have 3 ground anchors, with 7 bags of post mix, and then the anchor's them selfs are buried under soil quite far. But i might do your idea for my second bike if i end up getting it! Although if some-one want's something they will get it no matter what.
  9. I'm not sure if it was just drunk talk, but i believe some-one was talking about this license been changed again possibly? if that was some-one who's posted here please inform more? Either that or i really am just weird and crazy. Anyway's only you can truly answer you're question, if you want more power more experience and more thrill factor sure, if you don't or simply cannot afford you can always wait!
  10. Wish i could edit "The size of the bike it's quite good and cater's for most people on size wise." to " fit's every person on the forum apart from littlecat You're sooooo mean
  11. What model was it? ER6F 2006 When did you buy it and how much did it cost? I bought it one week before passing my test on the 4/7/2014 (damn thought it was less than that!) 3k incl finance.... Good points? The size of the bike it's quite good and cater's for most people on size wise. It has plenty of low down power for a bike this size due to the fact it's a Twinnie. I can personally stay quite comfortable on the bike for bigger journeys. Has a good MPG even if your in the mood for a little raggy rag. Can keep up well with bigger bikes until there top end start's to kick in. Look's the bee's knees in the older model's red frame with black fairings. Very deep tone depending on which aftermarket exhaust you get! and nice backfire..... Bad points? no fuel gauge. mirrors are pretty bad until you can adapt to it. insurance costs quite alot for a new rider. Engine breaking can quickly get you if you are not paying attention. Would you get another? If i'm still restricted yes but only if this one goes walkies!
  12. Wash that man right out of my hair - South Pacific
  13. Yessss! where are the others!

  15. Urgh, made it home while still feeling the effect's of last nights antics (cheers to the few people who was still feeding me whiskey until 5am ahaha) Very windy up north on the way, and a few minor showers, anyways. The rally was pretty much amazing cakearino, bloody fantastic people, open minded, each person has there own views on there personal bikes but very laid back! It's the first time i've had the balls to travel so far on my own and god it was really great, although tiring with very little breaks. people helpt me put my tent up as i was a newbie, ride out was amazing (sorry to the people behind me ), and the fancy dress was fantastic too! To be honest i don't know what to say it was very different and unique and i cannot wait for next years rally! only downside was the lack of single ladys! (including the wedding people) And ouch! sorry to hear remy, such a beautiful bike! P.s - littlecat, so when we swapping p.p.s - photos soon! ?

  18. Packed away, had a struggle getting the rucksack sleeping bag, tent and my onesie in the WATERPROOF BAG CANOEING KAYAK, not sure how it's going to fit on the way back one the tent has been unpacked, saying that, i don't mind taking the rucksack out of the waterproof bag on the way home.
