  1. What needs sorting, just making them smaller? I can always lend a hand either way, just let me know TC
  2. I've got an emergency pair in a sandwich bag with a pack of silica gel
  3. See, there's your problem
  4. Just checked the weather forecast again, in the last 24 hours it's gone from being able to dodge the rain by setting off early to rain all ruddy day! Better bring some spare change for those new pants, GOG
  5. I know your pain, Ricky
  6. That plan is entirely reliant on me knowing anything interesting, so it's gonna fall flat on its arse
  7. A given, but advice that doesn't necessitate replacing the whole bike would be a better place to start
  8. Second page before someone said it, I'm impressed
  9. My nomination for nob of the day goes to the absolute prat at Bar Hill roundabout who decided he could easily pull out and take the first exit without slowing down... in front of me, as I tried to exit the roundabout at the same ruddy exit. Had to slam on the breaks, but couldn't help but laugh when I saw the nob's wife smack him across the head. Overwhelming temptation to wave a rude gesture when I passed him a few moments later, but remembered that I should wait until I have a bike that can actually outrun people before I try that sort of thing
  10. What sorta time will people be heading there?

    1. Find wrench 2. Hit with wrench 3. Is problem sorted? If not, repeat.
  12. I'll be there, fancy a run down to papworth as well. Good stuff, I'd been hoping to head over there afterwards.
  13. Well, this is going to look a bit poor in comparison Never did manage that Lowestoft ride on Sunday. Fotheringhay Church RAF Whittering
  14. I hope so, otherwise I'll be sat there on my own
  15. When in doubt, try Maplin
  16. Bloomin' good incentive to do my DAS and get something better ASAP, though! I have to be fair about it - if it wasn't such a spectacularly fun bike, the service intervals wouldn't be such an issue because I wouldn't be riding it nearly as much. Still the only 125 bothering with Challenge 100! Will certainly be sending an email to Lexmoto questioning their logic, though. And Matty - getting it serviced at Lexmoto dealers so the warranty stays valid in the hope it'll help when I'm selling it in the near future. You think I go to Bedford every few weeks because I enjoy it? Worst place in the world
  17. Great Barford Bridge & Shuttleworth Collection
  18. 3000km - with my weekly commute and one decent day of riding every weekend it's a monthly occurrence, and that's not even factoring in other things like evening rides Had a service today. Just done the maths - between tomorrow's planned ride, the visit to the old warehouse on Monday, the normal commute every other day, Hartford Marina then Papworth on Tuesday evening, then the Rally at the weekend... by this time next week I'll be 1/3 of the way to my next service
  19. Oh, and the service intervals SUCK. Not that I have anything to compare it to, of course - but the insane frequency of my services is a point of amusement for several of the others in the lab. I practically have to plan my life around the ruddy things!
  20. Moo was talking about bringing a wheelie suitcase with her on the train I've told her outright that if it doesn't fit on the back of my bike, it isn't coming - cheating othewise!
  21. I'm just determined to break into triple digits before the rally Grabbing the two near Bedford on my way back from my service tomorrow then the two over Peterborough way after work on Monday, might go out Sunday to try and grab everything between Duxford and Lowestoft just for gits & shiggles. If I'm still vibrating when I arrive at Lumb Farm next weekend, you'll know why
  22. I'm sure I'll manage
  23. Had a peep at the website, DO NOT WANT Looks like the staff photo wall of a beauty parlor in essex
  24. Depends on the wind
