1. the discussion to memes ratio of the forum is way better than Facebook, that'll always keep me coming back.
2. Soooo bloody glad that Monday is my last day on the job and then I get to take a break from bashing my head against the wall that is coding for Outlook Time to buy the bits for a new computer stateside so I can get back on TF2, it's been far too long Been ages since I built my own computer, so this should be a shitshow
3. Speak for yourself Arwen! I tried that with the KLX back when it lived in a private car park overnight and I couldn't get a quote for less than the full value of the bike
4. Make sure you get one that's listed in the security devices dropdown on the price comparison sites! Save some money on the next quote...
5. These ones are decent, and should fit that disc ok: https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/74296?r=GS&gclid=Cj0KCQjwtpDMBRC4ARIsADhz5O7W8uSEIQrHmKSef_9CwLLAtkjPvRqXVPrgSLdY8tOR12eEZ4r2UZoaAjxWEALw_wcB Goes on like this: And no it's not that huge I've just made it waaaaay too big I wouldn't recommend the smaller one, it doesn't fit a lot of discs and at a glance I'd guess yours would be one such disc.
6. Yeah, the reminder cables do the job pretty well. Also locking the clutch lever doesn't stop someone rolling it away, and locking the brake lever doesn't do anything if they disconnect the brake line! Course you can still get around a disc lock but at least it takes some tools (and more than five seconds) to do that.
7. I've taken near enough every single part off one of these at some point or another! Be glad that you've never had to
8. Genius Also ooooh Lothario Art Teacher Divorce Hearing
9. I think clutch plates is the current theory, but he hasn't posted since saying he was going to give that a look. £5 says there was an ancient Sumerian sealed away inside the clutch cover and he's now searching the earth for the Necronomicon in a state of snarky undeath.
10. frazer It's the cable that would link up to the fuel tank vent valve on a US model. Some sort of emissions gadgetry. EU models have the cable, but not the fuel vent equipped tank! US models also have a 1.5l smaller tank to make space for the extra gubbinz. So mine had the same loose connector, nothing to worry about
11. Pffft, rat bike?! That one's in better nick than mine was! Certainly less missing bits
12. Oh yeah, the light blue ones are seriously fugly I always thought the yellow ones had potential, though. Before the suspension in mine failed for the second time and I lost all remaining patience with it, I was going to paint the side panels dark blue and the central stripe white like Suzuki do on some of the M1800Rs, always thought that'd be pretty awesome... and a front mudguard swap, headlight mod, and various others. They sure do have a lot of potential for customisation.
13. I've seen dozens of Rally Rep mods of the F650 (for obvious reasons), and a whole load of Enduro mods, but I don't think I've ever seen a ratted F650! Looking forward to seeing how this turns out, make sure you get some before/after pics frazer Well, apart from the one I read about that suffered the dreaded water pump failure in the middle of rural Thailand, ended up with an externally mounted washing machine pump that had to be switched on before the bike was started That being said, there are a fair few things to check and good mods to carry out that can make owning one of these a much more comfortable experience! If you ever get the thing in bits, let me know and I'll give you the list
14. Pretty sure I remember them being removable, so I'd say just take them off before painting!
15. http://a2bikes.co.uk/browse ER6 is on there. I'd never heard of the MZ Baghira until looking at that site, and now I really really want one
16. Haven't got any C spanners. Will C beams do?
17. Classic BMW
18. I never found it hard to just remember when the next one is due!
19. Seems like the most pointless yet potentially infuriating little gimmick
20. What a crock of sh*t! Mental note made to never buy a bike with a service light
21. Just to check - the registration isn't V969 EJM, is it...? If so, paint both side panels green, the middle panel white, then BURN THE WHOLE DAMN THING
22. WELP all of those threads were pointless
23. I reckon I'm gonna start a little side business exporting those things once I'm in the US! Can't get them over here for love nor money but they're damn good for the price...

Honda CG125 help

You mean it's hard to turn the flywheel by hand then suddenly gets easy for a bit then gets hard again? And yeah that sounds like a kickstart working normally to me. Little bit of rotation with zero effort, then needs one hell of a kick to get it the rest of the way, then springs back, right? Also didn't you say in the other thread that you'd got it running in neutral?
25. That's the way to be thinking!
