  1. Considering that's a first product, not too bad really, these things only improve and get cheaper over time, look at car sat navs! I would consider one 5 or 10 years down the line
  2. Hang on guys, weren't we just talking about not paying attention to horror stories? I come from an aviation background and can assure you that statistically powered flight is drastically safer than any form of road transport, it just so happens the media blow any accidents way out of proportion (surprise surprise) I can guarantee you'll have a great time and come back unscathed with a big grin
  3. Thanks for all the advice, I thought as much about open faces, but you know what girls can be like when presented with something shiny haha
  4. That is the sort of style I am looking for, so its definitely a good start. The attraction of the really expensive ones is the fact that they're bold, simple and feminine designs I guess, others seem to lack that
  5. Hey, I am looking at getting a helmet in the future for my girlfriend. I found some perfect designs here: http://www.ateliersruby.com/les-pavillon Any idea where I can get something similar for less than half a month's wages? haha Thanks, Nick
  6. Oh lord I am against the entire Sun/Daily Mail's subscription base here aren't I? Haha
  7. It's our response to these people that makes us civilised, there will always be offenders, it's up to us to take the higher ground You could say its the trial by jury that makes us civilised. If we changed this thread to what would you do if someone hurt you kids and you got hold of them and could do what you like without retribution I wonder how many would actually say "I'd lock them in a box feed and care for them" I mean look at all the nasty things people would apparently do to bike thieves! Zod you change your opinion as much as your socks fella! Well its obvious that you have a better grip on things than the paid professionals with a lifetime of experience that make these decisions

  9. It's interesting how most of you seem to have overlooked this really big point in favour of ignorant right wing ranting... We've moved on from "an eye for an eye" justice because we are a developed civilised nation not a community of barbaric mud-hut tribesmen
  10. I sh*t myself on every overtake on the bike because I underestimated the acceleration he had yeah, you have to drive defensively up here all the time, it seems nobody can drive properly
  11. Does having a car licence for over three years go for or against me do you reckon?
  12. Had my first ever motorcycle experience yesterday - passenger on a 750 I got about an hour in all and I was grinning ear to ear for about an hour afterwards! I have a CBT next week so looking forward to that even more now!
  13. Yep, anything by Coleman, simple, reliable and well built (bargains available online!)
  14. Wow, that must be scary... Being overtaken by all those big artics, you're braver than me!
  15. Yeah, thanks, but everything online always seems to contradict!
  16. Well after thoroughly sifting through the internet, I have learned that my CBT (booked for July) will not be valid in Cyprus when I move there. Does anyone know the route to getting a full motorcycle licence there and whether I can do it with my UK car license and not a Cypriot one?
