  1. Right then, finally got a chance to f**k about with this just now. Looks pretty good so far. Two things though, there is an AE selection but no key as to what the numbers mean (0-6 I think). Secondly, where can I get more sticky mounts?
  2. Bleurgh! Jamie Oliver and his big fat tongue.
  3. To the max! I'd probably nip off the M2 to Challock and up through Wingham. Seing as it's a Saturday I predict the 'Bubble and Herne Bog will be jammed up with tourists.
  4. Don't know why they don't combine this with the opening of the Ramsgate Tunnels.
  5. That is possibly the cheesiest thing I've ever seen! Having said that, I rate Keith Code's method and have read quite a bit of his stuff.
  6. So what does the plug look like? Sounds like your carb could do with a bit of a clean - take it off (and apart) and get happy with a can or two of carb cleaner before you start piddling about adjusting things!
  7. Are you riding familiar roads? If not then get to know them a bit first and build your speed up as your confidence improves. Don't get hung up on any mistakes you make, just try to relax as much as possible and enjoy the ride.
  8. Ooh, could be that one of your pistons got stuck when you forced them back in (if you've rulled out GoGs points). Have you tried repeatedly (and quickly) pumping the lever to see if you can free it up?
  9. Do you not get a bit of lag between files? I get roughly 200-500ms delay using my old cam when stitching files together which is crap for track day naughtiness. (STILL waiting for my SD card and reader to turn up...)
  10. Ha!
  11. I'd like to nominate myself again today. Stripped the carbs out to lower the floats a smidge. I started it up afterwards and it was running pretty well so I though I'd balance them up while I had the tank off. I got it nicely balanced and put the carbtune thing away, then took the leads out to chop a cm off each end for a nice fresh connection. All back together and I cranked it over. Nothing. I span it up some more. Nothing. I checked the fuel which squirted all over the place then I had a plug out to check the spark - all good there too. More cranking and no running so I squirted a bit of carb cleaner in the carb throats - span it over and it revved it's nuts off for a second then died. More cranking and looking about the place when all of a sudden I felt a little breeze on my cheek while I was peering in to the bowels of the thing. In an instance I reaslised that I'd forgotten to replace the vacuum blanking bolts. Bunged them back in and it fired straight up. Noooooob!
  12. I'm a spud, I put in Saturday night...
  13. How did you get 33 squiddlies for the Traumalodge Moo? It said £46 for me...
  14. I think it's some sort of omen... I've been up since 4 so wouldn't mind a kip - happy to turn out if a few people are going though.
  15. So long as it doesn't blow there shouldn't be a problem I think. May I also recommended reinforcing it with a bit of beer can and a jubilee clip.
  16. Go to B&Q and buy 2 sets of ratcher straps for £18.39 http://www.diy.com/nav/fix/safety-security/rope-bungee-straps/ratchet_straps/Master-Lock-2-Pack-Of-Ratchet-Tie-Downs-With-Retention-S-Hooks-3066EURDAT-Black-L-4-25m-9284340?skuId=9294040. Don't buy cheap ones as they'll fray and snap double quick. Then realise that Megawatt has already said what you're about to say and do that! With the addition that you should get the bike stable with the straps then go around and nip them up a bit at a time so they're all equally tensioned.
  17. 4L Castrol Edge oil (pour la voiture) - rrp £47, trade £37.
  18. It's have to be coke zero or something or the colours wouldn't match. Is that 8 hours at 1080p by the way? Also has anyone tested battery life on one of these yet?
  19. This statement confuses me.
  20. Flipping proprietary charging lead in mine - are yours the same? Loving the instructions.
  21. Going shopping for kitchen cupboard handles... Beat that!
  22. Have you checked the plug after your starting attempts? Is it wet or dry? What does the spark look like if you lay it on the cylinder head and kick it over?
  23. Mr Fro

    Tool Trolley..

That shelf looks a bit precarious mate! Can you not slap some of that super hard garage floor muck down?
  24. Precisamundo. Don't think I fancy holding WOT all the way up the rev range while staring at the display - I've absolutely no idea how rig up a logger aside from filming it.
  25. Has anyone got one of these? This is the sort of thing I was thinking of but don't know if they'd be much good unless they can be rigged up so some sort of logger.
