  1. Was gonna do that next weekend haha. Might just get the garage to do it!
  2. I have NO idea what you're talking about..
  3. Currently everything seems fixed So i'm loving it right now. Just want to get a nice new exhaust next
  4. Just completed my bikesafe course with essex police, thoroughly enjoyed it and feel i have come away a better rider. If you get the chance and haven't done one i highly recomend as a fairly new rider (just over a year) i feel considerably more confident.
  5. Jealous! My mate is off there with his family for a week I start a new job monday so couldn't join them.
  6. Just make sure you try it on first.
  7. You say that.. I'm doing a bike safe course sunday "Oi coppa, can you use a speed gun make sure i'm going the right speed?" *goes past doing 30 what is actually 40* "Yeah it's out.. your nicked"
  8. No way of measuring my speed on the road
  9. Shame about the bike itself.. didnt deserve such a crap owner
  10. Fitting i don't mind doing, its just the testing it works on a rolling road makes life a lot easier
  11. Found this on wemoto http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/suzuki/gsf_ ... nky_glide/ Gonna order it and a local garage will install it and test the speedo for £20
  12. Spoke to a suzuki dealer, they said it's likely the cable, as it's had a newsensor about 5 months ago.. Will look into getting it changed but i'll source the part myself as they quoted £30? na m8. http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/suzuki/gsf_ ... nky_glide/ £10 on wemoto. Will fit myself i reckon, possibly get it done in a shop as they can then make sure it works
  13. I fancied a marauder for my first bike, problem was its quite an expensive one to get a hold of.
  14. Riding the bike at the weekend realised how far out my speedo is, riding at what said was 40, was going 50 which is waaaay out. Not quite sure how to calibrate a speedo? I assume there is something on the wheel to adjust and it's a case of. Adjust > ride > adjust > ride. till it's fixed?
  15. I like those big chunky leather goggles with open face helmets. especially on cafe racers (not chinese ones)
  16. Got similar problems with mine. Might look into swopping the cable for a new one.
  17. If only you could have some sort of claymore on the side...
  18. Probably hoping for the biker to run after him, then someone comes along to the unlocked bike and runs off with it. Simple really. Not sure if you can bump start it like that? still its horrible. Mine sticks out and has 2 dangly things so i can find them in my pockets easier so mine would be easy to nick, though i'd rather take a chance and headbutt anyone who reached towards them
  19. If he'd come up that close to me i'd have just yelled to get back, arm out stretched to keep him away. This footage should go to the police.
  20. How much you charging? Im heading to the "for sale" section now.

    Bike Completely Dead

Never buy a bike that is already started/warm.
  22. All done, took a lot longer than planned, but all looks good, only problem i think the clutch pin is misaligned as the clutch is not disengaging properly. GOnna get the cover back off tomorrow and sort it.
  23. I got new tyres start of the year, riding became less of an "oh my" to more of an "OH YEEEEEEEEEEAH"

    Rust

Gah... you beat me to it.. My advice would be to cut off the rusting part.. then a bit more.. and a bit more.. untill the bike is in pieces. Now sweep it under the rug and get a reliable bike.
