  1. Would rather work on a bike, Less stuff to go wrong and i find it easier to get at everything than a car.
  2. "If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball" popped into my head.. Goodluck!
  3. Just got a new job, I had a basic interview, numeracy test (28/30) and excel test which completed before the time ran out. Nothing to stressful
  4. Will give it a go then If it fixes it great, if not, i guess it's 1 less thing i need to replace later on Cheers G.O.G
  5. I can't see any trace of oil coming from (13) as for service.. it's done about 11k miles now i last did a service about 1500 miles ago did brake fluid and oil / filter change. Reckon it's worth swopping the gasket first and see if it improves? at £8 not to bad to test it.
  6. Think i've posted this before.. Oil seems to gather infront of (http://www.robinsonsfoundry.co.uk/conte ... dcover.htm) just below the number 10. on all 3 spark plug seals. Reading up on it someone says it might be worth replacing the seals (3&4 in the picture) Just wondering how tricky that's going to be and wether or not i should attempt it or if i'll just end up causing more agro, as i'll have to remove the whole cover. I'm happy to try the work but only if i'm not going to risk fudging the engine.
  7. Did I see you on the side of the road? http://i.ytimg.com/vi/JgQq-cGscVw/hqdefault.jpg Can't be him, i don't see a broken down BMW
  8. I got a warrior bleed kit from fleabay cost me £6 incl delivery comes with a one way valve to stop air getting back in, makes bleeding the brakes very easy. Company i got mine from was JJC race and rally, ordered a few bits off them and never had a reason to moan. I got mine from a local place that sells all sorts of odds and ends. I'm glad i did as bleeding the brakes took almost no time at all thanks to them!
  9. Personally i think if you're gonna wear something, just wear a normal jacket. Cost same price. Those hoodies tend to either be uncomfortable or provide very little abraision resistance which you're gonna want .
  10. This is probably the best bet, i imagine your fluid needs flushing so doing both at the same time is worth it. I recomend a pipe that stops air being able to go back up the pipe mine cost me £4 totally worth it
  11. I struggled with this.. I got 2 pieces of wood put one on the back and one on the pistons. got a g-clamp and slowly tightened till they pushed in. Simples!
  12. I never clean it with engine running. I turn it on and hold the can about 6inches away from the chain and spray it on. I apply it like i'm putting ketchup/hp sauce on a bacon roll. Heavily
  13. Fair does, can't beat a good recomendation You say you aply directly to the seals? I've always just run the engine in first gear oncenter stand and sprayed it where it curves around the sprocket. then let it run for a minute.
  14. I can say i notice my chain looks a lot dirtier since i moved to dry.. Might switch back to wet now my dry has run out.
  15. Ordered the chain and sprockets. It's a sunday planned job doesn't sound to tricky tbh.. Would anyone recomend adding additional lubricant to the chain or just leave what comes on it? ALso i know it's an age old debate but dry or wet lube, i tend to use dry.
  16. Mine is slaved into my horn, Only turns on when ignition is on.
  17. I might actually be able to attend one.. :D
