1. Ahoy, Rather boring subject i know.. Anyone had an experience repairing or working on dishwashers. I need to swop a temperature sensor on my hotpoint but they're not being very forthcoming with the interior specs.. I reckon i could find it eventually but figured worth asking some of you lovely folks first!
2. The can required an adaptor to fit on mine i got it off ebay. As the pipes matched size exactly. So i had a piece of metal made up that covered the pipe and then went inside the new exhaust only cost a few quid, they even cut some slits in it so it could contract. Welcome to it if you like i have no use for it.
3. Glad all had good time! Looking forward to seeing some pics I shall endeavor to get a new bike next year and attend without the shame of no bike!!
4. This was my problem with the banshee in the most part. there is the tent you can fit inside with gear but changing is a pain and damp gear inside? no thanks.. Why i upgraded to the omega I'm interested in that dry bag though does it make it easier to pack then?
5. I've been having thoughts about tents too. When planning to be away for a week or so hotels soon add up. Was looking at the Omega 250 as it had the groundsheet bit in the porch. What sort of size is it when it's packed down? Large enough i wouldn't want to hike with it. Small enough it goes fine on a bike It's a very good tent, Surely a local camp shop will have one you can view.
6. Tell us! so we can use all your bandwidth!
7. As with Tango i can recomend Vango highly. I've hiked across wales with my banshee 200 and i used it at last years rally, Spacious for 1 person + kit, lovely and dry and warm cost me about £90 brand new recently sold it for £75 almost 3 years later!! http://www.vango.co.uk/gb/tents/1128-banshee-200.html Upgraded to something a bit bulkier but more spacious and a little porch on it the Vango Omega 250, this i could comfortably have 2 people + gear inside (though whoever shares with me beware!!) A bit trickier to pitch but much more comfortable and great having somewhere to sit and either cook or put my boots on, which is where the banshee falls down in my book. Recently used go out doors price match to get the omega for £130 approx http://www.vango.co.uk/gb/tents/1154-omega-250.html If you want any more help let me know Make sure you shop around! Also dont neglect your mat to lay on. Nothing worse than a thin mat..

12. Congratulations on the new job! It's the best combination as you get to work with the users to see how they use the software and then write code to actually fix real problems and make the users life easier. Coding fun plus loads of gratitude from the end users. Not like pure Dev roles where youre locked in a dark room pumping out code that's some generic IT- illiterate BA speced out. Pretty much what I do. I'm a systems developer at a hedgefund. Developing new stuff and supporting/rewriting old stuff. Thanks Joe Hope i can pick it up, they seem keen to have me there so must have said something right!
13. Go on then Beefy, Come to colchester and pick me up.
14. Cmonnnn, you can go pillion on my beast? Beefy i'm going to sound like your wife right now, But i wouldn't sit on that if you paid me.
15. Was debating attending but couldn't bare to face the shame of turning up without a bike second year in a row... Next year
16. Yeah working with motor insurer, how random. That's what he does, builds the systems that does the online quotes. The support is for the insurance companies when they have problems, and development is the software doing the quotes . Doubt it's the same company as these are based up in Manchester. Whats the company? As they have an office in manchester
17. My friend does something like this, it isn't to do with insurance companies is it? Yeah working with motor insurer, how random.
18. Accepted a job working first line support / software development (weird combo right) so will be learning a lot about SQL soon
