If the gloves are like last years the liner will be loose and they'll only feel right when you pull the lining inside out and cut it off at the wrist!! Other than that they're ok!!

the problem with those log book loans is the owner keeps hold of the complete v5 doesnt hand the loan company anything and they dont show up on hpi check either

I don't know enough about them but have heard it talked about in another forum. In any case it may be an option. Personally I bought a bike recently without seeing the V5 but I had enough documentation from the PO to know who I was dealing with and all our transactions were carried out under CCTV coverage! The V5 appeared through the post about a week later but I was nervous doing it!!

Could be they've secured the bike into one of those Registration Book loans and don't have a V5 to show you. Technically the bike wouldn't belong to them, it would belong to the lender.

It's a 400 mile single journey for me with a ferry crossing too so leave that one with me for the moment. Will confirm closer to the time

Ok I can now see those threads too. It appears that Tapatalk had banned everyone and not just Bellatrix. I've also now realised where there was a problem because I couldn't see it before! Glad harmony has been restored.

I figured it was a blanket thing as a result of you know who getting themselves banned. I can read the other threads no problem

That was one of the threads but there gave been a couple of others too - the what do you drive thread, the "I'm gonna start banning people" thread and others.

Have just had a message flash up on my screen that I've been banned from a thread. Two minutes later and I'm banned from another one! I'm at a loss as to why and have certainly not engaged in any arguments or breaches of forum rules that I'm aware of. Nor have I had any notification or explanation why I've been blocked from a couple of threads. Perhaps one of the admins or moderators would like to explain here please.

Try Fine Vision inserts. Made by pinlock and fit pinned or non pinned visors. I got one a few weeks back and it's great.

I have an old Barbour jacket that I've had about 10 years and no 're-waxing has been needed so far but it's not too difficult to do in any case.

There are some waxed cotton copies of traditional style Bellstaff jackets on EBay for about £60 -£80 if they would suit.

Could be you need to practice starting on the other side if the cones - mix it up a bit. That way the difference at the test won't be so bad. "Rev it like a learner"!!

Oh and walk through the course with an instructor a couple of times and definitely on the day of the test just to get your positioning clear in your head.
