Best to check your spark plug fella. Sounds to me like wrong mixture but you mentioned that it hadn't be used for a while by the previous owner. I have found that modern petrol is deteriorating a lot quicker than it used to. So the carb might need cleaning out. Not too sure on the science behind it, just my opinion. Also check air filter.

Dropping it down a public toilet doesn't help Phoneless since 4th April... I began my dad's obsession with Apple products just by informing him you can increase the text size on whyphones, cos he has poor eyesight. Then he started using the calendar for work - then he started his own business and relied on the calendar and stuff on his phone and needed it to sync with an Apple computer, - then his wifey needed a mac to work on too... ...tbf he has had shed loads of meetings with the 'genius' peoples and has really helped, (they must be reeeeally patient!!)...but I'm not dead keen. Computers and accessories are so overpriced, the software goes out of date and stops working on 'old' computers etc so you have to spend a fortune upgrading , rah rah... ...btw 9bhp, I scoffed at your post while drinking tea and it burnt my nostrils Yeah, I would never buy an Apple computer due to the fact that you pointed out, if you wanted to upgrade a component or needed more memory, you need to spend k`s on buying a new computer. Also, Apple as a company just really get my back up. There is too many obnoxious c*nts living in this world and I certainly don't want to waste hours of my day to go to a place where they all seem to congregate. The trick is Moo, before you read any post, put the mug firmly down to minimise the risk of spillage. ... speaking of which, I`m going to make a brew!

haha Is that to make sure the toilet is fully serviced? The toilet at my work has a really tight u-bend so every time you go for a derek, its gets stuck. Bad design but entertaining at same time.

Just thought i`d come one and vent some frustration toward my iphone and Apple as a company. My iphone has been broke (power button at the top & speaker) for the last 3 months now. It still works but its really shite but its really playing up today. I ask myself, why the hell did I buy an iphone? Alternatives are much better Cheaply made product with fancy brand name Restricted by only being allow to buy from Apple for music, films etc You cant change the battery, which lasts for like 2 hours Siri is gay as fook, I tell him all the time! He just says "your language"... fkin twat There is a reason why my phone has been broken for 3 months. I went to the Apple store in B`ham to get my phone fixed and the shop was rammed.. then this plucky little wench emerged from the crowd with an iPad.. because I must of looked lost. I told her my issue and wanted her to look at my phone, then she said the most bemusing thing I have ever heard. "You have to book in to see a genius" I was like "Oh, is Steven Hawkins here" ... No! This genius was some jumped up little pricky university drop out who failed a PHD on how wear trousers properly. The best of it all, she told me I had to wait a few hours so I can see this "Genius". All I want to do is get my phone fixed, not a f**kin science lesson on how great Apple is and what features I can use... just fix my phone god dammit. It takes 10,000 hours to become an expert but apparently you can become a Genius by working in a f**kin phone shop... perplexed to say the least. I aint being a part of that, I cant even look at someone who claims to be a genius (unless they actually are), I will just lose my rag with him... so here I am with a broken phone, knowing that when my contract is up... the can stick this phone and chuffin Apple up their obnoxious, hipster a-holes. 9bhp out.
