I was originally going to "like" this post but would it mean that I like whispering eye Ahahahahaha I work round the corner not on the corner 10 mins walk and I am at work! some of the lads at work take the piss because I don't use my bike for work these are people who only do 500 miles a year to and from work Yeah yeah suuuuure People have no clue.I work with people(questionable term) that asking/wondering why I am not riding my bike to work... Those are people that do not ride a bike and I am sure never been on one. Why I am sure of that hmmm Maybe the fact I work 250 miles (one way) away from home 500 miles round trip, what do you use... a Helicopter

I have been for the last 10 years I only have the bike for fun I walk to work as its round the corner and have always had a car The bike is not for commuting on its a toy My bike is for fun only just a toy nothing else oh ok...Are you self employed or do you got a pimp ? Yeh same here , i got up this morning , lovely out , sun shining blue sky I thought hmm bike... but roads damp and greasy , cold and a bit of frost and as my stalker Sleepy said its not about losing your passion it's about enjoying your self and riding how you want to ride and not freezing your nuts off.

Make sure Tyres lasting the whole trip is an excellent tip, I know someone who got caught out with that .

at Priorité à droite - this gives drivers right of way to pull out from a side road on to a main road, it's an old law from the days of horse and carts, most French don't recognise it any more but some do , I've had it happen to me , it's mostly in smaller villages, just something to be aware of .

Why do I want one? Just a nice feature. A little like a SatNav, there are not essential when you have road signs directing you but it's nice to have (just my opinion). You didn't just compare a gear indicator to a sat nav! A sat nav is not just a little feature it is much much more than that Anyway if you want one get one but you will wonder why you wasted your money on it! you will always try to find that extra gear Some of them don't even work when stopped depends on the bike Stu Stu Stu.... You don't try and find the extra gear cause you can see your in sixth, cause the gear indicator tells you so

I put one on my CB1000r, it plugged into to the diagnostic plug, was easy to do and set up , don't know about set up on other bikes , I fitted one cause I kept going for 7th gear .

I know of Guys, who have the Touratech muffs over their handguards. Depends on the motorcycle / hand guards model and the muff model. For my bike/muffs it doesn´t work with one over the other. Cheers Frank Any pics of a Muff model
