Then...... To cap it all. Our drive is on slope up to the garage. Yes. Lisa and the 2 then 9 or 10 year olds had to push it up Plus I'd then finished shift for a few days, I'd obviously worked all xmas so the plan was that lisa n kids were going to the coast that morning and I'd get a few hours kip n get over early afternoon on the bike. Was after tea and in a car when i finally made it.....lol

Agree. Those days have long gone. Well ever since a boxing day night shift about 7 year back. Went to work in the cold. Then sat in dismay for 12 hours as the snow tumbled down..... 2 hours padding to get home. Sod that..lol

Cheers mate. We only started her on saxophone as a means to instil confidence etc. Its a bit of a nightmare in our house at times. Cacophony of noise..... Grace: saxophone and piano Lewis: Bass guitar. Lead guitar and a bit of piano twatting. Bizzarely tho. Neither lisa nor I can play anything!!@

She's 16. Been at since she was 11. Grade 6 i think, so bloody good...lol. Have you heard of the Marsden jazz festival? Evidently in the jazz circles its a big thing. Well she plays there every year etc. We were making her play to the neighbours during the summer lockdown

I think we have all had very differing experiences. For Lisa and I, the only difference has been we've not been able to have any leisure time. Both worked (left the house) But have not been allowed to go to the coast. (This may seem trivial but I usually probably spend 100 nights plus each year over there, at times during the summer months i all but live there) I miss the match. I miss the pub. I miss the craic. But it will return in some capacity. I at one point got really jealous of people working from home. I then realised i was lucky. At least i was getting out. (Worked more since last march than usual due to other's illness) It's the people who are furloughed or stuck at home i feel will suffer. I was stuck in for 4 days due to having to isolate before a hospital procedure and my PTSD was off the scale...lol In the end it will be reyt. As a nation though we need to help those you need it. Not just financially but mentally.

I actually thought there was going to be a serious crush before this gig even started. 95. So before the control areas were set up etc. Normal Glastonbury crowd plus a shitload of footie lads. (I looked resplendent in a blue gingham ben sherman) Absolute chaos where we were. Been all over watching football/rugby/gigs but never before or since thought, shit. This is going to go wrong big style.
