6. She's sound cheers. It was all very bizzare. ECG showing abnormalities but the bloods were clear. She was up and running about as per usual within 48 hours. Good luck with yours
7. Some of you may know this. Lisa had a funny turn a few week back. Suspected heart attack during the night. The paramedics had her on an ECG within 30 mins of the 101 call. Into hospital. Monitored etc. Treat accordingly for 24 hours. No heart attack. Some murmers on the ECG. On going tests. Can't fault the care at all

Via I used osteopaths for years prior to surgery. A disc would pop out (rugby n work related) and they would put me in agony for 30 mins then I'd walk out sorted. Deffo recommend if you can find a good one. There are some clowns about tho so be wary of very short waiting lists. A good one will not be able to see you the same afternoon. I used to use the soak in the bath comfry. Epsom salts etc. Also the only decent pain killing cream is volteral as it is medicated. Bar that get back on morphine Joking aside. Good luck with it
9. Slowlycatchymonkey 100% agree . Private health care is not the answer. The system is in decay though and has been for 30 year. What I was saying is. When the shit really hits the fan then there is country better than ours.
10. When things go very wrong the NHS have been fantastic in my experience. My premature kids. Weeks in intensive care baby unit. Parents heart attacks n subsequent by passes etc. My spinal surgery. To name but a few. I feel especially around here it's where you land. We have probably 5 or 6 hospitals with accident and emergency departments within a 10 mile radius. Thus we don't have the clinics.
11. Happy Hour. 4th best band in Hull
12. I am starting as early as possible because last year it was a manic dash to get everything sorted in time which culminated in days upon days of graft. Most on here who donated and the large donations from work etc were in the form of money. Thus I go out buy the gear. Source the shoe boxes. Pack them Buy and wrap the boxes Then deliver. Hence why I am starting as early as possible. It's sodding hard work n very time consuming for me n the family
13. Yep that time of year again. I will be once again collecting shoeboxes and the contents ofcourse. If any one would like to help please PM me for details. (Geoff. Bonio was an absolute star last year) We will not be having the religion debate this year We collected over 100 boxes last year. These were despatched via St Joseph's RC primary school. All donations very much appreciated. Said boxes
14. Love spreads. Stone roses
15. asharin I have nowt to add but good luck with everything
16. Oh don't. Ive had the dashcam discussion with my husband many times. He's just not interested. Ive pointed out it would be beneficial because even if something was our fault we've never been the sort of people who'd deny it and always hold our hands up. Anyhoo perhaps this will be the straw that got the dash cams installed! I particularly want them for my son who's about to start driving. Some drivers try to bully the other person into accepting fault, insist theres no damage or just lie and I think young new drivers are particularly susceptible. I can't understand how people think its ok?! The guy who's refusing to pay out on this one was overbearing and clearly thought he could get his way using force- lightweight female in a nurses uniform will surely acquiesce?! He became visibly angry when I refused, shocking how much of life can still come down to physical size and dominance. I stood there thinking you will give me your details, what you gonna do hit me, run away? A sad state of affairs, one that would be much easier now if I had some footage!!! As Mike days said. Phone the police. Stating. "I'm a lone female and feel intimidated. I think he's about to hit me" They will attend and quickly.... That's what I tell Lisa to do anyway. And the advice is from a friend of ours who is a serving copper.
