You can. I rode down from leeds to Surrey on the hottest day last year. Took the hoodie off at Leicester forest East. Base layers off at Watford gap. By the time I was on the m25 leathers open to my naval Not a pretty sight. Gets to the hotel was literally dripping!!!

My kids have been going since they were young. As has been said ear defenders are a must also something else for them to do when they inevitably get bored.

The only problem with that place is it can be cliquey. If you don't ride a 1300 BMW some of them don't have the time of day to chat. Some of the old timers have a good story to tell though. Half a time when I call I'm in the car wi kids in tow. If no one talks sod em. (I just wind Lewis up and tell him to go n ask that Mr about his bike or what he thinks of ac/dc....lol) Butties are nice mind

Much easier riding on the motorway. Traffic only going one way If its head down arse up try and read the road further ahead than normal. As said wrap up warm. -
