Dazziep. For commuting I use a box. Cost me £60 in the sales at jordans. Done approx 5k with it and not a hint of bother. I fitted a pinlock to it and apart from occasional clean that's all. It will do me for work. I would take yours back and play holy hell mind. I've always found j and s fine (leeds) so they may help.

I think people worry about it a bit too much. You will be fine. It's not as difficult as folk make out.

My Dad 71 at the time and had recently had another heart attack episode. Decides he wants to go the football. An away game in the play offs a couple of year back. I was on nights so couldn't go. I booked him onto an official coach ( mates were on the ale) and gave him very clear instructions to answer his mobile so I knew he was alright! !!!! Long story short. By half time, after trying to ring him since the coach set off I had to phone one of the lads to find him in the away end to see if he was there!!!! Reason for non answering of phone. Didn't know how to.. I was a little worried to say the least

The only time I really suffer is. I have a pair of them waterproof spada camo trousers with the thick thermal lining. Perfect for when its cold in a morning. Coming home from work, you can get a little sweaty.... The leather trousers with the vents in are supurb though. If its above around 3 deg I tend to wear them with a base layer on underneath. .

I don't really know what to suggest. .. Maybe try a different style or material construction of boxer shorts? ? I think we probably all sweat a bit but maybe your issue was more to do with nerves?

I have the RST tracktech boots. Can't recommend them enough to be honest. I will certainly buy them again. Protection is very good. Precise on the bike and comfortable enough for walking around in.

Go. Get it done. Even if your do fail then at least you will have experience of it for the future.
