  1. I would have thought you'd have been desperate to get out of Barnsley. ..lol Sorry couldn't resist;-)
  2. The only living boy in new cross - Carter USM
  3. ONE way of life - The Levellers
  4. I am now worried indeed
  5. No just football prejudices. After the leeds stabbings \murders a few years back I and many others around here will never go back. Yes I know its harsh and ridiculous but hey thats life. When me n the lads went to bodrum 20 yr ago it was a good laugh. Place was a bit shabby to say the least but a good time was had by all.
  6. In my honest opinion. .. Jamaica - loved it. Leave the hotel tho. See the place. Dominican Republic - Nice but a bit shabby. Margarita - Fantastic. But hotel bound. Cyprus - Aya napa=shit hole. Rest of it lovely. South France - Nicer the closer you get to Catalan\Basque regions. Malta - No good for kids. Portugal - Really nice. Spain - Never had an issue wherever we've been. Tenerife - Didn't like. Turkey - Will never go again on principle. Tunisia - Shit hole New York - Got to do it once Norway - loved it. Plus various places around Europe watching the football but they were mainly city breaks. Hungary lovely for a city break, so is Copenhagen.
  7. Went to turkey 20 yr back but to be honest even tho its cheap I won't go back. (After the leeds stabbings a few year back) We did a holiday village in Portugal last year. Fantastic for the kids. Done some of the Caribbean prior to having kids. Jamaica was lovely. Depends totally on what your after. As someone else mentioned. I wouldn't go cheap if you are already going to a cheap country. We did that in Tunisia. Never again. ...
  8. We have a caravan near Hunmanby. Riding home Saturday afternoon I have never seen seaways cafe as busy. Didn't stop it was that rammed...lol
  9. Takes all sorts old lad takes all sorts....lol Best shut of fantasists like that.
  10. Me and the lad will be attending in r lasses Peugeot 107 thingy. .... Now that's something to rip the pxxx out of;-)
  11. Well. A good time was had by one and all. Must say tho. As I said. I hadn't been to Donington for several years. How anyone thought it could host a modern day motogp is beyond me. Yes the viewing is very good but the infrastructure is still lacking and the basic facilities poor. (Probably always has been but you notice more with kids now) Toilets are cleaner at Olivers Mount. ..lol
  12. Early 40's and wear a ring.
  13. First time in donkeys years been down to the WSB. Never miss the motogp and do the occasional BSB plus Scarborough. To be honest. If I hadn't have just done 2x 80 hr weeks we probably wouldn't have. Right looking forward to it now though. ..lol. (Hoping for a yorkshire victory)
  14. Anyone off to the WSB Sunday. Decided last minute to go down with the kids. Got 2 very excited 11 year olds now.
  15. Maybe you need to ask yourself if you need people like that in your life?
  16. KILL your television - Neds atomic dustbin
  17. I use a box helmet for commuting. Around £70 when bought in the sales a couple of years back. Done a 3000 mile or so with it and to be honest for the brass I can't complain. Internal sun visor etc.
  18. First day off after doing 8 12's. Tumble dryer won't work. Very strange motor burning out type smell emanating from within. ARRGHH. That's my day off sorted. In the garage, tools and I. Or bloody Currys for a new one!!!!!
  19. Forgot about the fancy dress... Getting a little worried again. ..lol
  20. Times do change. When I was 20. Some 21 year back, I had an Opel Manta. I dread to think what the equivalent would cost to insure today.
  21. Good stuff. .. Let the fun commence
  22. When I got back into it I went straight to the DAS. To be honest I'm probably 16 stone and 125's in my opinion weren't for me. I think it also depends what experience you have n how confident you feel. I'd had little bikes as a kid and also pratted around with scooters (proper kind) so I wasn't phased. If you have the finances to go through the DAS and then onto a big bike that's the way I would recommend although I'm sure there are plenty who will say get a 125 for the experience.
  23. I'll drop the deep heat in Brighouse if you like mate..lol

Yes sorry, what I was meaning was that it would have been a hung parliament again and they would not have had overall power to do as they please. Anyway. No comment;-)
