The seat in my mt10 is loose - they all are. I saw a YouTube video about how to fix it by putting an eraser (rubber) between the latch and the seat. I didn't have one (haven't used then since school) so I used a slice of spam instead - worked a treat. Smells a bit when the engine warms up after a few miles, but no more rattle!

I've never had corned beef

I read you can use it to remove sticker glue from your tank etc.

Hastings are often insanely cheap. My mt10 1 years ncb, just passed my DAS, was £350 with Hastings though comparethemarket fc. Next cheapest was mce at £1200. However, my new bike numberplate wasn't recognised in the system so I had to call Hastings to get a policy assigned to that bike. I tried twice with different departments and after an hour of not getting to speak to anyone I went with mce. Pay peanuts, get monkeys.

Well, get a quote for a car with similar specs in a similar group - probably a bugatti veyron - and see if that's any cheaper. It's all relative

Everyone voted £20 a night for camping so £17.50 shouldn't be a problem.
-
I went camping in Oxford once - loads of space, cheap, showers...

Social for me too - I'd like to get to know some of you, I think?

Too far south for the majority of folks - Trying to keep fairly central (if possible). Yeah I was (kinda) kidding

Sounds fun, I think? Huntington, York, I assume?

That is green!! Sounds like a fun project - enjoy.

I was gonna say big bike immediately if you can afford it, but I had a load of fun on my 125. No, I'm still gonna say it though - big bike immediately if you can afford it. It's like if someone says 'should I get a car with a 1 or 3 litre - I can afford to run either'. Yeah get the faster one.

Don't swerve back in too quickly - there's no need - you have a long distance to slow down, aim for the box, and stop. So, take a nice wide arc which should allow you to build some speed without worrying. -

Dainese jacket, trousers and boots, weiss gloves, Hjc helmet. I have some buffalo textiles if I'm ever forced to ride in bad weather. Thread needs pics. -
Probably been posted already but... "A woman walks into a bar and asks the bartender for a double entendre. So he gives her one."
-
That's excellent.

Huh. My bike has a fuel gauge so I assumed it was kind of the norm. I guess not.
-
I like. No field gauge is odd though - is there a light or anything? Got a reserve tank?
