  1. Welcome! Check with your insurer - they have different rules re modding. Then specify which bike you have for power gains. Though I don't think you often get more punch AND better fuel economy. You could change the sprockets for more acceleration (but less top end), better breaks will allow you to stop better so make you faster.
  2. I could most definitely be pursued. Going for a ride tomorrow morning early - possibly up that way.
  3. Do you spank them Just a gentle pat on the bum
  4. I deal with cyclists that do that in my own special way.
  5. £6k a year for me for a new one. That's why I got the naked version - the mt10 - £500 a year is doable.
  6. Never once had a problem when I was on plates. Maybe Sussex drivers are nice.
  7. Congrats! Smashed it. I passed with the exact minimum required Indeed. I did my theory test in 2015 but didn't do my das until after it had to expired so had to redo it, which was annoying.
  8. The CBT is valid for 2 years so if you haven't done additional tests in that time you will need to redo the CBT. Hope that helps Ftfy
  9. I should really help my wife pack up our house...
  10. Deffo. Megawatt and I had did just that a whole back - was good fun. If the weather is good tomorrow I may be available, though I should be packing for my house move...

    Holidays

My sis is getting married in Italy and my mate is getting married in Poland. Short breaks, but should be fun. Then I will most likely go visit my sis in Australia where she lives for Christmas. Hammer did you get my email? I can't pm you, strangely.
  12. Haven't been riding for long but a sponge and lots of water works for me. Cleaning products leave streaks on my visor.
  13. Welcome! 125s are indeed nippy and food fun - enjoy. Superb paint job too - not many yellow bikes!
  14. I naturally 2 finger braked pre das. Das said no 2 finger braking. Post das I now 2 finger brake agon - feels much safer being prepared (I rest my fingers on the lever).
  15. I wouldn't randomly take my bike key to a pub if I hadn't rode it there You would be surprised at what some people do, albeit with car keys mostly - knew a guy with a Vauxhall Nova who had a Ferrari key ring, even when not driving he used to pull it ( the key ring - stop giggling at the back !!) out and place it on the bar when getting his wallet out, we used to rip him mercilessly but he just didn’t care. I mean any girl stupid enough to be impressed would be woefully disappointed when they saw his baby shite yellow Nova. Don't diss novas - they're classics.
  16. It does work. Except it stops the bike working I have used fobs before with no issues maybe you was unlucky that day! probably a million to one chance of it happening again but are you prepared to take that risk! it will always be in the back of your mind now Oh I'm sure. But I can see how it would relatively easily happen again. Scary stuff!
  17. This is fabric and so doesn't scratch the yoke. It's big, so you can easily find your bike key. It does work.
  18. Like I say it was a gift and I like it. Its also the exact noise my bike makes.
  19. This was an ironic gift from a friend, I didn't buy it myself... I was overtaking this morning and my bike suddenly turned off I was like wtf! The fob got caught in the cables in the yolk and turned the key and engine off. Seriously - it could've locked the steering lock and I'd have been in a whole load of trouble. I was okay though. Be warned.
  20. That, is a very cool machine.
  21. Why do you want the pigs on here?! Just kidding I have nothing but respect for the filth. No I do actually like cops.
