I may have been doing this wrong for years but.... I used to turn the engine over (by back wheel turning while in gear) until the piston was on the way down (from firing) and the valve Cams were 'off' the valve. Set these and then move onto the next cylinder. Used to work OK (but as I said - It could be incorrect). Have you tried a 'you tube' search?

'They' have been charging for a few years now. However, as Billy said, there are free alternatives.

Sorry to hear that Fozzie. End of Season is the Rally! Autumn is already here. Ride out starts at 1100hrs.

I went through this will a D14 I found abandoned in Gibraltar - This had no reg plate at all and was in a very bad state (salt air). The end result was a 'new' reg from DVLA, and a sale once I had got it road worthy. The process is simple but 'long winded' and sloooooow! Hope you get it running again.

Okay. I am off home now. Contact Michael at the pub if you get here tonight. He will show you the ropes and where to camp and park. I will be there tomorrow morning at about 9am.

Morning all. Rain cleared away and will soon be dry and sunny for the RALLY weekend. There is still plenty of room for anyone who wishes to join in - 'L' Plates, 50cc - 3.4ltr+, trikes, etc. are ALL welcome! Reminder - Camping is FREE! There are hotels & B&Bs in the local area Room in the car park for an additional van Ride out on Saturday (time TBD) - This will be non-motorway and national speed limit taking in some local twisties (and a few straight sections).
