Morning All - DALEK wiring day today!

Normal cost for rally attendees = circa £100. Six attendees = £600 Surely that would have helped? AND, if we got back to 20+ attendees, then £2,000 could have been 'donated'. It seems to me that more folk would rather spend a lot of dosh attending Racing weekends than supporting TMBF for one weekend in the year! Semi-rant over. NB. The Brampton Riders have arranged a free rally with (so far) 12 attendees.

We could have organised a collection at the Rally!

Good moaning - Went 'tagging' yesterday luckily it was overcast and cooler (no rain!). Had a nice F&C meal at the Robin Hood in Sheringham (and a decent pint of 'Proper Job'). Traffic was not too bad (until coming back home). Spoke with a traffic cop about the bike and the 'problems' with young motorcyclists 'terrorising' pedestrians in the town (apparently 'they' are fond of doing wheelies along the main street late evenings). There are not enough local police to stop this from happening as there are similar problems in Comer! Anyhoo, a good day out.

Maybe if we charged £30 per person to camp, charged for the hire of the gazebo for the entertainment (say £50), charged for the hot showers (£2 per use), charged for the electric hook-up provision (£5 per night). Say a total of circa £50 per person for the weekend, we may have more takers instead of trying to provide all that for free!
