Aye up! Just back from a trip 'oop norf'. Visited Lindisvarne, Berwick, Seahouses. Hotel: The Blue Bell in Belford is shite! Supposed to be 3* - I would not rate it as even 1*. 45mins wait for breakfast (poached eggs) and then it arrived stone cold!. Room carpet dirty, windows dirty, no plug for the basin, only 1 tea bag in the room, the 'Real Ales' (two) were both rancid! If you wish to stay inn the area, I recommend the Black Swan (again in Belford) although to book, you need to use Air B&B.
