  5. sounds like a fun day!
  6. Hey mjk what were the fails for? If it's something like not lifesavering then knowing the route probably won't help much if you haven't got the subconscious check check check quite nailed. Speed limits are the kicker but just make sure you look at the entrance of every road
  7. Hello and welcome! Helpful people will be along shortly
  8. Haha! Nah its all Hoggs. I shall remind him how lucky he is to have a super awesome girlfriend though maybe he'll buy me a new bike.....
  9. Bikes are more exciting than weddings. Think how many bikes you could buy for the cost of a wedding
  10. I'm taking the other half Paris in Feb, I should be excited but I feel a little dread - I'm asking the big question... Can I buy an R6 Asking? BE A MAN AND JUST BUY IT BEEFY
  11. Hey Jim! Most test routes take in multiple change of speed limits (watch out for those 30 to 20 zones!), also probably a roundabout or at least lane merges to check your livesaver-ing. I think I had a stretch of 60mph on mine just to make sure you are comfortable at higher speeds. Had a quick google at the area there is a 60 stretch on the A273 so just make sure you mirror and accelerate if safe up to limit. Oh and remember never ever turn right in you're in the left lane at a roundabout - better to go the wrong way and let the instructor sort out the new route than fail for that! In villages watch out for people stepping out between cars etc and mainly just relax! Which I know is easier said than done! Lifesaves, mirrors, speed limit you'll be grand
  12. Paris, gonna eat all their cheese and bread and drink all their wine! Maybe go to a museum as well.
  13. Because I'm going on holiday tomorrow!
  14. Is this how you get your head to fit in any helmet?
  15. Hiya we got them from Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/IDEAPRO-Waterproof-Interphone-Motorcycle-Bluetooth/dp/B01I57XC8G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1473854008&sr=8-2&keywords=bt+interphone+1200" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
  16. Hello! It's quite loud in a helmet especially at speed. Not sure if anything other than the boomstyle mic would result in audible sound for the other person. I have a cheap 30ish quid one that works ok but it has the boom mic. BT Interphone 1200.
  17. Ah I see Rants card business is taking off
  18. Are you actually a squid, Six?....... I reckon there is nothing inside which allows a bit of movement
  19. Who has right of way at a roundabout?, What's the sequence of a traffic light?, What do solid white lines in middle of the road mean?, What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? etc etc etc 24mph I hope you enjoyed the formal google answer for that as much as I did

  21. berated me for this shit too.. Drunken minds think alike
  22. Holy moly and I thought I'd done alright this week! Nicely done Sue!
  23. I passed my DAS last october and was lucky the weather was so mild. Take it nice and easy and don't go out if you're not confident. Much easier to gain confidence after a small weather break than after an off
  24. hahah! Paging Spanner, Spanner to thread!
  25. Ex-army gortex on ebay is always worth a look. I have some overtrousers that I picked up for £14. Much better than the Richa ones I had that leaked all around the seat seam and left you sitting in a puddle of water
