  1. What we need are hover trains like in Back to the Future 3
  2. Congrats! On to booking the DAS now Edit: haha just seen Tango's post. Great minds and all that
  3. I know the drill, my friends used to live in Brixton I imagine there will be some pilgrimages to the Ace Cafe when the weather gets nicer, I'll wait for those rather than risking catching something
  4. LMRC - Are they mainly Saarf of the river? Or is there stuff for us Northerners too?
  5. I won't be making it this year so can people take pictures of any lovely new green bikes for me? *rubs thighs*
  6. I can offer you a longboard surf store in the Netherlands... All the stuff I can find on UK suppliers is from 2011 ish and they either no longer stock the item or exist as a company. The only thing I can recommend is maybe to call someone like dogcamsport or headcamz and see if they can get you one.
  7. You'll probably have to stop every 10 files to install new updates as well

I think it's pretty good as the bulbs in there at the moment chuck out a decent amount but I will check later

Hello! I didn't want to start a whole new thread for what is possibly a really stupid question and is linked to the above... One of my headlights has gone, I see Osram are recommended above so did a search on their website for the ones I need and it came back with 64193 (normal) or 64193NR5 (Night Racer 50). Now these night racers are twice as much on amazon as the Nightbreakers (64193NBU-HCB) but the racers blurb is all bike related with "vibration resistant technology". So the question is: is that a real thing I should get or are the breakers which have a car related blurb ok?
  11. Oh the other thing that actually annoys me more than all of my previous rant is people who sit in THE SAME OFFICE and send emails to OTHER PEOPLE IN THE SAME OFFICE asking them ONE SINGLE QUESTION. And then THEN!! after they get a reply they send ANOTHER email that literally just says "Dear X, Thank you." As I am copied in automatically on 90% of the emails I have to trawl through all these to get to the stuff I actually have to deal with. I am aware I may have anger management issues.
  12. hmm it's looking like the only option may be to get one shipped from the company in the US as they offer worldwide postage (looking like £160 ish inc shipping). Is it mainly the size that appeals? I hadn't heard of them before.
  13. Jeremy SHOUT OVER EVERYONE Vine was "discussing" this. There's no way it will get through surely? I thought one of the reasons for the "unofficial but seems to have a bit of truth to it" 10% leeway was due to calibration issues on speed guns / speedos?
  14. *deep breath* people who see you filtering and move closer to the line to deliberately block you, people who change lanes without indicating, people who don't understand roundabouts, people who walk out behind buses without looking, people who see you coming and walk out in front of you anyway, anyone in the middle or outside lane who isn't overtaking something, people who incorrectly use the word "literally", people on scooters who think they get priority over everything because they are narrower, those three wheeled scooters, people who go on the Apprentice, people who work for Foxtons, people who drive smartcars, whistling, people who believe they are morally superior because they don't eat meat and lastly but not leastly people who say could/should/would of.
  15. I sold my 1972 Morris Marina TC (stop laughing over there) 5 years ago and saw her pop up on ebay a while back, sans interior, engine, dash and most of the TC trim and the guy wanted £100 more than he paid me for the whole thing!! So I get it. And I get your car is a lot nicer than my marina, which made people in the back seasick.
  16. I think we may have a winner for today. Waiting in traffic (single lane entry I am in the middle of the lane) to a mini roundabout. The car in front moves about 2 inches so I stay still. I spy in my mirrors the doofus in the peugeot behind me creeping forward. I knock the bike into neutral because sure enough he just carries on going bumping into my rear wheel. Rude gestures from me. Apologetic waving from him. He's lucky it was chucking it down or I may have been inclined to get off and have a discussion about how he did not see or hear the big green bike that had been in front of him for several minutes. He thankfully kept his distance after that so fingers crossed he doesn't hit anyone else.
  17. Bit far for me but I look forward to the trip report!
  18. I'm hoping my other half clears enough room in the garage to fit my bike in before the weather gets too bad... but based on experience I may put an order in as the one I have isn't very waterproof (more light drizzle proof!)
  19. If it works for you that's great but as you said it is a crude way. If people are struggling with clutch control I'd recommend practice practice practice! Just don't get lead foot on that back brake! At least we can all agree that using the front brake is a massive no no
  20. The point of the maneuvers mod is to ensure you have full control of the bike at slow speed so you are safe on the roads (pulling out, in traffic etc). It's not really productive to try and "cheat" this section as it's something you will need to be good at in every day riding. Practise letting the clutch out very slowly until you can feel the bite point and keep your chin up (looking down at the ground will result in a foot down!)
  21. A guy gets pulled over by a policeman and asked for his licence which he hands over. "Says here you need to wear glasses to drive" says the policeman "I've got contacts" the man replies "I don't care who you know!" says the policeman "You're coming with me"
  22. Hmm I remember a certain M Marquez starting from the back of the grid in Valencia in 2012 (in moto2)... think he did alright in the race! That should spur Rossi on! I'm not really a massive fan of either but I think they are both amazing riders who have achieved a lot and they have both done some rather silly things in the past. Think Iannone is having a pretty good season Glad the Ducati is getting more competitive always better racing when you have a few people who can challenge at the front.
  23. Ahh maybe it's one of those I heard it from my mate's mother's sister's dog sitter who read it on a flyer in the laudromat type thing....
  24. Pretend to peddle you might get away with it But you probably won't as I think a lot of buses have cameras on them to catch people in the lanes (well London buses at least)
