the bike is a off road type so i doubt it will have a high speed 5th more of an overdrive gear to knock the rpm down a wee bit. my CBR125R's 6th gear just takes off 2000rpm as a cruse gear http://www.bikemagazine.co.uk/pdf/530/202034.pdf 2nd page states that the bikes rated top end is 60mph and has 12.5bhp@8000rpm should also be serviced every 6000miles

best of luck please let me know via text, phone, msn, pm or here lol the three yellow ones are your AC system from the alt to reg it should be a 3phrase AC system to stop DC drop outs i think looking at the mag and wireing. 3phase AC = always on, basicly DC hope all is well and the connector will need replacing or a propper repair but as a tempory messure clean the pin, push it in untill it feels secure then secure it using lecy tape or ductape

if it shows that its should be a pure weekend meet please as i said contact me its just a draft date atm i can change it to a more convineant date for others The Frog and Nightgown allows under 18's on the premisis as long as they behave, dont drink and arnt a nuesance to themself or others i shall post a actual date once we have a good idea of numbers and best part of the week Edit: weekend options set and "revote enabled"

seems more conveniant for others i need set dates from people not just anytime or not sundays etc best date for me because im in the pub trade is north of the 2nd jan 09 but we only roter 1 week in adv. my job is very flexable though so im gonna be brave and sugest the 8th Dec being early month and 1st day of a week most people will have a spare bit of cash for fuel and if we decide to stay here no accom fees apply lol but this will depend on mums shift pattern if she is on nights i would ask you to arrive after 5pm but i can meet you on the way if you do so wish... on monday evening there is a bar not far from mine that is trying t bring back a bike sceen i will talk to the land lord and warn him about the meet we may get some free advertising in the pub and there facebook page. also worksop has a scooter gang so to speek of around 15 members wwho meet @ the pub i work at i will also advice them of the plan and ask if they wish to join in. i have a garage that we can lock the bikes in aslong as you dont mind a squeeze also a back garden i live in a quiet low crime estate so theft shouldnt be an issue for those worried. i will also offer tea coffee and possablie food lol 2 spare rooms and some blankets and tents for those nutters the route i have planned in my mind is meet at mine for 1000 ride to matlock fishpond and pickup if nessersery or if easier for others have a brew and head north in the peaks until we hit a city then ride back either to your home or mine for the long distance riders for tea/coffee and a good nights kip then make your own way home as i said id preffer 2 mods to come one as leader and one as a tailer also for us to talk to about riding etc any technical issues someone may have (im quiet good at this) and for general advice, i will be keeping an eye on my inbox and pm inbox if this is for you email/pm me to conferm and please PM me your mobile number so i can have a nice pritty list just incase if you have protective perents or are under the age of 18 just ask your mum or dad 1st so i and the site dont get an angry letter or phonecall lol i look forward to hearing from you all

clean the pin off with scotch bright but disconnect the batt just incase its live 12v will hurt lol push the pin back in the connector cleaned and lovely make sure its making a good connection start the bike and wait for a couple of mins (say 5 - 10) then disconnect the plug and see what happens after its completely disconnected check everythign electrical: lights horn and just tap the start button youll hear a mild scream come from it but dont hold it or bye bye starter and after all is checked, bring revs up and check lights again then after all is done check the kill switch and you may find the lil plug is the charge return to the batt wooooooo if you wanna limp up sunday day we can play i got work @ 5 or i can come to you with a tail pack of tools and toys lol

the bike shares the same engine & wireing to the following bikes gs, gn, en & dz 125 after an hour of google searching i have given up trying to find a manual i know from the en125 the altonator is a little weak but still pumps out 65vac minamum and the rec kicks out a healthy 14v to the batt and system. now if its not spewing out 13.5v + the batt wont charge as its lead its constant volt not current so the batt will only draw the amp it needs but suck 13v if not more. now if the rectifire was the issue the system for batt and lights would die as the battery did... the mag/alt runs on a 2nd line also to the coil i think so engine will sustain (commen sence says this) so i think it maybe the reg but to find this out it would envolve disconecting batt after start and checking voltage on line... the bulbs will work from about 4volts so they will light but will be dim and drain the alt/mag current produced thus causing engine splutter i think. plan now ian would be to start her up and check this im sure u can scrounge a multi metre. if it is the reg/rec http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Suzuki-EN125-Regu ... m153.l1262 worst is worse and the mag is shot http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Suzuki-EN125-magn ... m153.l1262 says en but there the same engine if you look lol very nice bloke also try calling him for advice

dont know what else could be the issue Reg/Rect Altonator loose wire loose connection on the main bus

50cc - a restricted bike all are welcome but its focased onto people that want to meet, learn, have fun, and ride safe i shall get TimR to add a poll if its working and if we get a good 6-10 say 50cc-125er's i will organize a date after crimbo for us all to meet i think it will be a great idea for us L and even Non L 125 users to experiance a propper ride out
-
we need a multimeter and a battery charger if you wanna ride up to mine or risk riding upto mine should i say lol mind u if the altonator was duff it wouldnt run... and why would the batt go flat because like stu said it runs off the charging circuit... i found out when my bike runs off the charging circuit alone i get the following issue No flasher for indis very dim front lights no tacho no pannel light for the clocks
-
think ill bump it upto a restricted licence lol but anyway im Pming other 125 users and prospective buyers to show it off, i have talked to the small non idiot 125 sceen round here and they are up for it. this isnt just forum only if you have friends on 125's and even 250's please ask them to come along its always nice to have people there and so 1st time ride out people can learn: the bond and "rules" as they say of riding in groups, how to get the best of there bike, pick up tips, given advice on test/das/theory meet some of the friendlist bikers i know get a feel for a long distance ride out could even go camping lol

Hello all as some of you may know back in October i tried to arrange a 50-125cc meet in matlock for us "n00bs"/L platers and freash test passers to enjoy some nice roads and for those not comming to meets due to "lack of experiance" or feeling they may be a berden to others on bigger bikes. anyway im going to put the idea in motion again and yes i would request that 2 Mods/forum reps come along for people to ask questions to and give tips and advice. please state Will you come what you ride date best for you where you come from note: i could make it so its a over nighter at mine then hit matlock in the day (30 mins ride) making it better for longer distance riders

not that far out really. anyway what a dumb design just seen a photo of the bum and theres not even screws on the lens... anyway if you get a screw bit (philips size 2) and a pair of molgrips on the bit it will give you a very small screw driver but its awkward lol i got work at 1400 so if you do wanna pop down you can or im off 2morrow and we can play?
-
35 mins i can do it in... nottingham to worksop anyway lol
-
Worksop (S80 3QS postcode) get a PH2 bit and a 1/4 Spanner and twist... or a ratchet 1/4 with a 1/4 bit and a screw bit (PH2) and wahla right angle screw driver molgrips also work
