Chain is to tight had my nan sit on it this morning and yes stu sorry i didnt realise that someone had to purch the bike as you tighten it... duhhhhhhh fixed now and all im getting now is feedback from the swing arm and engine like normal yay the squeak from the chain and front cog has also gone with some help of old engine oil will get some chain loob once payday arise's wooo i was worried the gearbox was caputting

  4. the chains tention isnt tight its got about an inch of play as sugested by the manual like i said i dont think its the gear box because the vibration follows like a wave pattern

  6. hello all after an oil change, chain tighten and new front bulb changed i have an issue... there is a strange vibration on the r/h footpeg at speed above 10mph and low-mid range rpm its not the gearbox i dont think as if i pull the cclutch in it is still there i fear its the chain or wheel i havn't lubed it for a while and the bike was jetwashed yesturday after oil change etc. ill lube chain aand update but in the meantime if you have any ideas let me know
  7. test ur spark by removing it from the cylinder earth it on the engine case and press go you should have a nice blue spark
  8. no long term effects to the engine? i know the spark looses life but apart from that... does it involve damage to the valves and head also?
  9. ok in relation to this: what are the issues of runing to rich?
  10. before biting point bring revs a lil higher and slowly release clutch... before tinkering with the clutch make sure u got the skill to a T

  13. you need a Colbolt drill bit (about 1/2D to the threds) and some easy outs (cromwell supply all these for a good price) just ont snap the easyout inside the threded shaft or well ull need a few colbolt bits to get past the easy out drill about 5mm into the shaft and then the easy out will grip and twist it free a 1/4 or 3/8 speedy brace with the correct addapters will make the job easier the easy outs are extract turn only molgrips will also work on the easyout tool

  17. on distance riding i wear a big over coat which is wind and water proof + hiVis on small rides to the shops, nothing on rides over 5miles ill put on a high vis vest
  18. id take bike back if its underwarrenty aircraft piston engines (carb'd ones) utalise the liquid cooling system to deice the carb just a thought
  19. agree with bill sounds like a slippy clutch... new thicker oil may fix it or er new clutch plates should best way would be to inspect the clutch and then you can tell lol
  20. redX shot, 97 or 99oct fuel and a carb cleaning thing as said if you dont wanna strip it
  21. nitro boots from J&S £60 ankle tecktors and gear bit on my toe great not super weather proof but keeps the rain off
  22. its wher the water heater is kept if not erm... ull have to ride with em to dry or find some silicon pouches
