  1. I genuinely thought you were a proper footy mad, Gym addict from your username until I first met you I guess that describes me now, however the gym addict part still isn't obvious
  2. I'm from the west side and full of beef.
  3. Did you clean the old gasket off the faces?
  4. Loved it last year and gutted not to be going this year, I'll be in Gran Canaria with the Family instead. Hopefully I can find a pub that will stick ITV on for me
  5. You'll have to ask the photographer who put this together.
  6. I was never a fan of the first one, but this one looks prettttty good. You only need a spare £20k-ish for it too.
  7. First thing I added to my bike was heated grips as I ride pretty much all year unless it's REALLY bad (ice and high wind, maybe snow but that comes under ice.... Ill ride in heavy rain if desperate or been caught out by it but Id rather wuss out and take the car lol) I bought/got into this as a hobby/toy/learning something new so I'll try and avoid the rubbish weather as much as possible. I for some strange reason really do want to go out when its pissing down as seems like it could be quite relaxing (I'm sure its not) It's not relaxing in the middle of February at 6am, that's for certain .
  8. Oooh I cant seem to locate it on the website, do you have a link please? Hmm...just checked and as of now it says they are discontinued. They were made by Motrax if that's any use searching for one. Can't copy the link on my phone though. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/2057 I think you're bang on the money, this is what it was! I'm gonna have to see if I can get hold of one, thanks very much for that.
  9. Not sure if its along the same lines but boats also stick lumps of zinc as it attracts the corrosion. Protecting the hull from said corrosion. Doesnt even need a full coating just blocks at intervals is enough.

  11. Nothing about it being an import in any documentation. Receipt for it being purchased from some garage in Suffolk. They don't normally need a speedo correcting cause they can usually switch between units. I cant find the box I've been looking everywhere, this is just one of them things that could only happen to me . This might seem an obvious thing to say, but why not take it to a Honda specialist, either dealer or independent? I wouldn't bother buying any lottery tickets this weekend. I've sent a message to the local Honda already.
  12. Tell us why Because copper has terrible anti corrosion properties in salt water.

  14. I've got a bit of an unusual one. My speedo stopped working recently, I replaced the speed sensor which is a common cause of this failure and noticed this little black box fitted. Speedo still didn't work so I removed the box and it started working again - but this time with everything in KPH, the milage stayed the same but it now counts up in KPH. The clocks can't change from KPH to MPH like they should be able to, I think this can occur if it's a european model? The bike isn't a European import but the clocks might be. They typically can easily change between miles and kph, with a quick press of the button. My clocks have a sticker on the inside over this part of the display. However I can see round it slightly and it shows kph, which it always has done. However it has definitely always operated in miles, I assume converted by this little box. There's no part numbers stamped anywhere on this thing, I don't suppose you might have a clue what it is, and where I can get hold of one? It's not on any parts diagram anywhere, I don't know where it comes from in the slighest. It has to be this specific item too as I need it to start counting from the same number in Miles again. I can't replace the clocks as it'll change the distance into miles which is going to be reduce the value and look pretty dodgy when the last MOT shows 37K . I know speedo healers exist but I think it's OTT for this, price wise anyway. I expect this thing is a fraction of the cost.
  15. Who me? Hmm... not sure to be honest - I could when I was training regularly, but that was well over 10 years ago now. I suspect the muscle to weight (i.e. cake) ratio has changed somewhat since then! I can put a Rowntrees Fruit Pastille in my mouth without chewing it though, if that counts for anything... Sorry, that was my challenge for you. Do 10 pull ups
  16. Bet you can't do 10 pull ups
  17. I'll probably struggle to make that date

    degreaser!!!

I'm shocked. There was something Stu didnt know at some point? Everything I thought I knew has come crashing down.
  19. Heating oil reduces is viscosity, which means you're likely to drain more oil if it's hot.
  20. A 10 minute long video turns out to be a shit joke, which was all set up.
  21. I've got a black widow, it's not as bad as Geron is making out. However it's not fantastic either, and even though they say otherwise - It will require the fuelling sorting if you get a full system. It came with a 2 year warranty and I haven't had to use it. Their "competition" is delkevic which are a similar quality but only offer 1 year warranty. The quality doesn't feel shoddy and it's still a mirror finish 2 years on, but I do polish it with autosol. That said, I would also recommend you look at someone like Fuel. The amount it fudged my fuelling was outrageous, I thought it was a bike issue until I saw it was well documented online of others having similar issues (Mine ended up with a large flat mid range which killed all the power at a certain RPM). However I think most are going to require some fueling adjustment if you have to change the full system, it's just less likely to be as bad with a better brand.
  22. I wouldn't knee-jerk to a 125 if you had planned to get a big bike, I'd have stuck witht he original plan and looked for another school.
  23. It's a 57 plate busa with just over 8000 miles on the clock and 4 owners and it's up for 5.3k it looks clean as in the pics Just make sure it hasn't been clocked, I've heard of a few bikes going through there that have been.
