You owe me 10 minutes of my life.
-
Yes I plan to move my shite money into it each month - the money I would use to buy a coffee with or when I pop into the shops. I do spend little bits quite often so I imagine it'll tot up quite quickly.
-
Thanks Joeman just signed up for that. I assume your £2 is rounding up £8 to £10 for example.
-
Cheaper to buy a new battery more regularly IMO. I am not convinced they help that much against occasional charge us by riding or charger...
£30 for a charger to keep your battery going a few years, vs a new battery yearly at £50+

I dont think that was the point mate............... but great pic
Ta. Yeah I know
In just trying to think if I could get nicked for incriminating myself
Police are searching for the local arse grabber.

If you can get down to Hastings I'll show you all you need to know.
Will you teach him about bikes when you're done though?
-
If it's cranking like you say I'd be looking at spark plugs next. Did you replace the rectifier before the battery? If it's a charge issue the bike doesn't crank typically

I want
can't afford. Looks lovely that.

I should be there, that date rings a bell as important. I'll find out when I tell Mrs Beefy I'm going out on the bike and she tells me off for forgetting .
Turns out that important date was the missus starting her new job , she's doing a night shift and gets home after 10am. I'll probably have to see on the day what time she makes it home.

I got one for xmas, but haven't had to adjust my chain since so not even opened it yet
-
I assumed that was tongue in cheek.
@fastbob I gather I can manage without but might be easier with. As it is if the manual arrived before the stand I shall try without.
Sorry , what was tongue in cheek ? Basin under bike , undo plug , drain oil, hold bars and move the bike upright, Dain the last bit of oil , put the plug back in , get a measuring jug and pour in the correct amount of oil . Done . Do you need two stands to drain the oil ? No.
It depends why the drain bolt is, on wether you need to even lift it upright. Mines in the corner of the case on the side where you'd drain it, so on the side stand the drain bolt is the lowest point .

If I get a stand what sort of stand do I get? Front wheel stand? Rear? Both? Sorry I really am an idiot when it comes to mechaniccing, promise I have competence in other aspects of life
Spend your money on oil .
I don't think having a rear paddock stand could hurt? It'd make chain maintenance easier
-
I dunno about yours, but mines designed to be changed on the side stand.
I would MASSIVELY overfill the oil if i did it on the side stand
Well the level is designed to be checked upright, but the draining is done on the side stand. I guess at the very least he needs a second set of eyes to check the level .

My 7-year old has just tried using the voice search facility on YouTube to find a song he heard on the radio and liked. He said "Eternal Flame Bangles". The suggestion that came up was "Milf dangle".
I'll wait until he's gone to bed before checking out the results...
Be careful using it to search for Jamie oliver's 'sausage in cider'
Will do. That said, if anyone knows how to jerk beef, he does.
I certainly know how to jerk Beef.

Throw in some rear break for more stability and keep up the revs, the examiners want to hear the engine to know you're doing it properly

Google BT sport's stream on the day. There's loads easily accessible . People stream all channels all day on some websites.

Nah the forum has just run out of spaces to fit all of your shame, you'll have to act dignified for a week or so to make room for the piccies.
Not as shameful as not having a bike, even Glorian has a bike now. pfft.

Oh the services are really struggling or something at the minute, we had a similar experience. We phoned up because the laddo was ill, we wanted some advice and they ended up thinking he needed an ambulance - for constipation . We knew he was constipated he was just having a rough time, but they said they were referring us to the ambulance service. They phoned within an hour (nurse) and said they didn't think he needed an ambulance but would get a doctor to phone us back. Doctor phoned us at 3am, about 6-7 hours after we were first told he needed an ambulance. By this point said turd had already dispatched itself and the boyo was more than happily asleep.
