And to add more oh fuckery ....
Remember your body temperature can affect the readings ...
Holding the bore gauge or micrometer in your hand for too long can cause fractional expansion ...
Which dealing with mm's is fine but thousands of an inch or sub millimetre it can really do your head in ... so consistent temperature and remeasure .

Also look up in the north bore
As a hgv driver you are restricted to the left lane due to height restrictions ..
Look up and you will see some large metal poles swinging above the right hand lane and that first left bend is a C*nt as you need to go a bit wide but
A . Other road users tend to cut the corner
And B. Go to far you bounce the roof of your wagon
But not go wide well the wall shows the scars ..

Check the line markings for tunnel ... if solid you can't legally filter ... plus it aint that wide in there !

Can imaging the flip side of this ...
Buggers have not gritted the Road .....
...
Need to buy tyre chains or spiked tyres to get anywhere .

Perhaps no ice as they gritted the roads previously ...

Driving otherwise in accordance to licence if it's not restricted ...and as above your insurance may be compromised ...
Both carry a potential 9 -12 points penalty so bye bye new licence

I've heard the efficiency of these very much depends on your type of property it can be a bit of a lottery. Our log supplier has sent us a message saying get your hardwood logs now before the price goes up. Been buying from him for years but can't help thinking he's just trying to cash in on hysteria
As need to be kiln dried etc the cost of drying them will increase if elec/gas prices rise

Smaller part looks like a snapped/cut shear bolt which are generally found holding an ignition switch on to a vehicle .
The grooves in the head of it may be as a result of attempts to undo it
Long bit may have been hammered ( holed end looks burred/squashed) onto the head and where the rusty part is a set of mole grips or similar to turn .
Check your ignition switch mounting points .

Xcp rust blocker sticks and is thicker

What bike is it from ?

You can also mot a vehicle at anytime not just at its current expiry term ..
-
You can mot a vehicle a month before expiry .
Dont go for the long distance option as if stopped police tend to do a thorough roadside inspection and can throw up 'dangerous condition ' charge .
Also note most breakdown companies will not cover a vehicle that is not MOT'd and if you request service from them it will be charged .
And at last known T&C this included a £99 surcharge and £2.50 a mile .

Either world of triumph or Fowlers are best
Tip for World of triumph
Go through ordering process BUT do not proceed through payment ( ie register for account , add to basket , go through delivery info , go to payment page But dont complete . Close browser and within 48hrs generally you will get an email 'reminding you of your basket contents and offering you a 10% discount code )
Forgot 1 step .... you will receive 1 or 2 other emails before the discount code asking if your still deciding ( generally within 12 -24hrs of initially starting the process ) just ignore and await the goodie .

Tried to order air filter assembly from Destination Triumph for the Trophy.
Phone up on hold up identify part. Surprised when I wanted to collect.
They would not order part until I payed in advance over the phone.
I don't carry cards at work, so could not do.
Might as well order online..

You may find the cog inside has worn and whilst it is 1mm or so that translates to 20mm at the end of the kick start .
( or by the history it may be installed incorrectly )

Did you remove any of the gear linkage mechanism ?
You may not have aligned it correctly

Whilst i applaud their intention and having done similar in the past i have now come to the following conclusion with motor based charity rides/drives .
It would be more beneficial to the charities if you just donate the fuel and associated costs directly as they predominantly outweigh the donations received .
Hope they are aware of the a14 restrictions ( no 50cc) in places
servicing costs

It does actually exist BUT on the whole not really a test required for a service .
More attuned towards high performance engines or to determine if new injectors are faulty .
