  1. Now I see why the back protector is required here, but it's not for an off
  2. Ach I used to get a wire brush and dettol taken to my legs after playing football on reed ash pitches when I were a lad. So what if my knees are all scarred, at least my bones haven't shot through the skin.
  3. Bet you are glad you took that test now eh ?
  4. Well done mate. I was looking out for this thread, but the pixies must have moved it. Congratulations, now go get a big bike
  5. I recently bought a pair of Red Route jeans. They also have the knee protectors in them. Regular length were far too short for me (and I'm only 5'10"), so had to go long. Really comfortable for about town riding, but I always wear the leathers on longer journeys.
  6. Korbs, I picked up a pair of Red route jeans the other week in J&S. Were £99.99 reduced to £79 with their 20% off promo. They also had some very nice other ones significantly cheaper too. Can't remember the make, but the only thing they didn't have was the knee protectors. Still had the kevlar, and pockets for the protectors.
  7. Don't take her, or you will end up with a bag, earrings and a necklace to match your boots
  8. I'm an estimator mate, I always round up the way. My Dainase ones were £99 as well
  9. I had to go get a replacement tax disc on Tuesday there, as my holder fell off during my run at the weekend. £7 for a replacement. Oh and I got Dainase boots for £100, and very good they are too.
  10. You are so protective of your roads down there young man.
  11. That is some run mate. Anytime I have been down Borders and Dumfries way there are always tons of bikes about. I am sure Daz, Chicane and Centurion will confirm that one. Oh and do as the gf suggests next time as well. Another couple of hundred miles is nothing
  12. Couple of pics from today. http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u31/Ratser/Bike/DSC00614.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u31/Ratser/Bike/DSC00615.jpg
  13. Feel free to give me a shout when you come up then
  14. I do love Inverary, such a quaint wee place. First time I had been to Oban since I was 3 though. Fantastic roads. Do you still have family there mate ? Loch Fyne hotel is excellent too.
  15. Nice wee 260 mile run today alongside (at times) the R1 from next door. From Hamilton to Loch Lomond, over the Rest & Be Thankful, through Inverary, down to Lochgilphead, up to Oban, down to Tyndrum, through Callandar and back down the M9 and home again. Absolutely knackered, but well worth it. Stopped off at the Green Welly, but by that time (about 6.30) there were only 4 bikes there, two of them ours. Will post a couple of pics after my pizza.
  16. Yeh looked a bad one.
  17. How good does Stoner's bike look ?
  18. Like I said, that is because they started charging the cost of the new test back when it was supposed to come in. My first test was the old rate and was the beginning of September, and my second test was the new rate as it was at the beginning of October.
  19. Hmmm, don't see the Slayer one on there.
  20. Wouldn't go with my leathers or bike Josh
  21. Ah, I thought it was summit mechanical it was off road for. Hopefully be back down that way over easter.
  22. I want one of these bad boys. http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/2002/slayerlid.jpg Also available ..... http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/6278/slayerlid2.jpg http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/9046/slayerlid3.jpg
  23. They have been charging the new test rate since the date it was supposed to come in, at the end of September.
