As for Eugene he is out of a job and am sure maybe in the running however 2 brits in the team not si sure I think Brad makes a good replacement for cal when his contract expires next year.

  11. Dedided i wanted a helmet with an inner sun visor so obvious first choice was caberg. Looked at the flip fronts and the ego and was undecided at first but when pushed by the wife for a decision the ego won out. It is the comfiest best fitting helmet I have ever had it feels light, as its the helmet i wear for rideouts and long distances I always use ear plugs with it but it seems no worse than any oither for noise. The helmet has a quick release strap and a sun roof, yep thats what they call it in the description a large portion of the top of the helmet slides back and allows a lot of air to circulate your head and i have to say it works a treat just dont leave kt open in the rain. The sun visor is easy to flip up and down on the move and isnt too dark, the main visor is pinlock ready and it actually came with the insert. I paid £137 for it and it imo is superb would buy another if anything happened to this one.

    FZ1 abs

Year- 07 price - £6000 mileage - 3700 full mot and recently serviced Extras full exhaust and 2 brothers racing can radiator gaurd high screen rear sets full lower fairings stomp grip on tank crash bobbins Added rear lugage rack and top box. I always wanted one of these but could not afford when they were new so when the blade finally had to go it was an easy choice what to swap it for and I am not dissapointed 95% of the blades strrengths and non of its weaknesses! The bike is all day comfy even without its predecessors one peace seat, the tank is alittle smaller at 17 litres but will easily do 150+miles between fillups unless on the isle of man The brakes are more than adequate till you hit silly speeds but it may just need a pad cahnge, the abs works really well and has come on a few times when needed and isnt intrusive! The gearbox is a little clunky but once again this could be down to the rear sets putting the push rod to the box at a different angle but its fine when on the move. Now the engine, what cani say its a peach it will pull from nothing can be short shifted and kept below 7k for most normal riding conditions, 6k is 90 in top and it pulls so well you believe you have another gear, however hold a gear to the redline and it is blisteringly quick without you realising there is no step in power its just so linear. For the first time I have a bike that i have no idea what i would replace it with it is truely a great all rounder would I have another yep in a heart beat, if sportsbike make you ache you couldnt do much better than one of these as a replacement!
  15. The original 636 on an 02 plate, bought for £3300 with 7500 miles on the clock it was a world apart from the cbr600f it replaced. The bike did 20000 miles in the time i had it and the only thing that went wrong was a corroded electric connector block, that 20k was alxo done in all weathers and absolutly no servicing! It made 99 bhp on the dyno and as a comparison my mate had a 51 plate 599cc that made 97 so there really isnt much in them! 10k revs in 4th is 100 mph redline will see you hit 120mph. On both bike the rear footpeg hanger on the exhaust side corroded but not too badly otherwise the finish was surprising. When I got shut after 2 years I still got 2k trade in if i was looking for a cheap 600 sports bike that was comfy and quite practical and cheap this would be on my list.
  16. I think viks may have posted that for other peoples benefit
