  1. Mine has been fine until recently. It's just a case of regularly checking and cleaning the inline filter.
  2. Why not ? Then Seaways and the TT if we can fit it in
  3. You'll need to put the alarm in service mode prior to disconnecting the battery. On a series 3, you turn on the ignition then press and hold the right button on the alarm keyfob. Once charged you can refit the battery then take the alarm out of service mode Alternatively, why not just charge the battery on the bike ?
  4. You could be suffering from carb icing, mine certainly was this weekend. Check to ensure the coolant filter inline with the carbs is clear of crud. If it is your fuel filter, it's probably in the tank so just remove the tank and unbolt the fuel tap complete with filter, you can then flush it out. If you've got an inline filter under the tank, just remove it from the fuel pipe and replace it with a new one.
  5. Or attach an extra long hose to your tank which you can mount securely nearby.
  6. Good report, glad you enjoyed it. Once you've done one trackday you'll soon want to do another. They are very addictive
  7. I have a ZX636 A1P model and can get around +170 before having to switch to reserve and would expect +30 on reserve so typically upto 200miles from a brimmed tank is possible. However if you thrash it everywhere you can expect just over half that.

    ACF50

    or around £100 for 4l

    ACF50

Used it the last couple of years but bought 4l for this year, works out much more cost effective. Appy it using a compressor and it goes a long long way. Also used FS365 last year but you have to continually re-apply as it soon rinses off. ACF50 is much better so I tend to clean the bike before the salt is spread, apply ACF50 all over then don't bother cleaning the bike again until spring. If you do clean it, some of the ACF will remain so you could just re-apply to the most vulnerable areas.
  10. The best option is to remove the battery, charge it up on a trickle charger then put the battery somewhere warm until next season and top it up with the trickle charger once a month.

Anytime is fine but it only takes an hour to Matlock from Lincoln but it's almost an hour to Notts from Lincoln + another 45mins to Matlock so I get to keep warmer a little longer if I leave at around 11am
