Couple of things to think about (which you probably already have) : Transportation - how are you going to get the bike there? The biggest thing to get ready for me before each track day is getting hold of a trailer and loading the bike up. Sleeping - If you are camping out then obviously need to bring all your camping gear or just some things to keep you comfy in the car if you are sleeping in there. BTW which double at Cadwell are you talking about? The one in July mentioned in the other thread?

DID SOMEONE SAY CADWELL!? Let me know which organiser its with and I'm there EDIT: are you sure you have got the date right? I cant find any record of any TDOs doing track days on that date..

I did 3 track days on my road bike (CBR600) at Cadwell and the tyres held up pretty well, certainly still no where near needing replacing and the brake pads have over 50% of their life left on them as well.

I'll tell you which group I want to be in after the 3 track days I've got lined up this weekend and the weekend after see what sort of rate I'm progressing at in inters, as July is still a long way away so plenty of time to improve

Yeah the 33bhp restriction is a bit of a pain when it comes to track days... that was one of the main reasons I took my test prior to the 2 year restriction period being over - so that I could go do track days As for what track days are like.. put it this way I went and did my first ever one in January this year in the freezing cold and wet, and I still enjoyed it so much that I have done 5 more since then and have 3 more booked over the next couple of weeks

Yes I've booked yet another track day at Cadwell This ones is on the easter bank holiday weekend on Sunday 4th April with Focused Events - anyone else fancy it?

Finding this site quite useful now, much better than having to look at 3 or 4 separate web sites also I noticed it now has Club MSV days on as well as the 3 main TDOs

Holidays all confirmed Think I'll wait until pay day to book the track days though just spent £210 on the track days at the end of this month, my bank account needs a chance to recover

Just asked for 5th, 6th and 7th (to recover ) off work so once they have been confirmed I'll get these booked

haha I think it was 4 people wasnt it? It surprised me when you passed me coming out of coppice, I was riding really hard to keep up with the other guys and then you just nipped round me like I was doing 30 mph! Yeah it did take quite a bit of getting used to but by the afternoon of the second day I felt like I was going a lot better than before - knocked about 6 seconds off my best lap time so I must have been Ah fair enough, I forgot how far/expensive it is for you just to get there. I think I'm definitely going to do it though so I'm sure you'll see some videos from me here shortly after

lol yeah in one of the other videos someone comes past at the same sort of speed on the same line and actually gets round the corner, which I was impressed with haha Yeah it was great to meet you and your family and thanks once again for helping me out. By the way I managed to drop the bike while I was getting it off the trailer when I got home haha I bet that doesnt surprise you. No damage or anything, it just fell over when I undid one of the straps and somehow stayed on the trailer so it didnt hit the ground or anything. There's a 2 dayer at Cadwell on 27th and 28th March if you are interested! Its a weekend so £210 in total for both days.

haha they are coming! Its just hard to get any when its dark all the time that I'm at home now until the weekend

Called LouthBikes today and they said it shouldnt be a problem delivering the trailer to me on Thursday and I called the place I'm buying the car from and asked them to make me a duplicate number plate for me to put on the trailer as I had forgotten all about that. Also got some ratchet tie downs (though no idea how to use them yet...) and checked oil level, chain tension, tyre pressures etc on the track bike last night so I think I'm all set now!

haha I've watched that a few times before, its absolutely insane how quickly they go round some of those corners.. Oh and as for noise testing, you can get it done pretty much any time - one guy turned up at about 2 PM the other day and they still did it for him
