  1. Tis a shame, it's just bad timing and distance for me IE both together.
  2. My thoughts, if you like it everyone else's thoughts are irrelevant, if your talking reliability that's another thing but taste and preferences are personal and no one can help you with that
  3. Done, I don't get angry but Def not son in-law material
  4. I was looking at that the other day, who wouldn't want a V8 screamer.

    Newbie

    Welcome
  6. Well done that will keep a smile on your face for a while
  7. I've paid a lot for the road, when safe to do so I use as much of it as required to make the bend as straight as possible I was also going to add never take position over safety but was beaten too it. Going into a bend to fast will make the bend slower cause your going to muck up apex, and exit and possibly your trousers, it's a learning curve though and things happen, learning from mistakes is quicker when they are your own.
  8. That's easy when the original mini wheels were re purposed from a shopping trolley
  9. Yup and even then its still not to be trusted, we booked into a hotel in Glencoe on the morning we were setting off to go camping, severe weather warning, rain, gale force winds, bridges closed to high sided etc etc. Glorious weekend, no wind and not a drop of rain....
  10. A fair few already have limits on vans, length height weight etc, I had a lwb high top that was over all of those the AA still arranged for a big recovery vehicle from a third party, normal guy turned, laughed and said that's not going to fit. I've just realised I'm sounding like a frontman for them I'm not, but tbh they've never let us down, we do change to who is cheapest and will cover everything, just been lucky every time it's been needed it's been with them, over the years there have been many call outs, furthest was from Middle Of nowhere top of a moor way past Perth, relay all the way back, engine internals decided to leave van unannounced.
  11. You need to check the small print that you agreed to because as sure as eggs are eggs you also agreed that you read and understood the contract and part of that will say they can change what they like... No eggs were harmed during this statement...... We have the AA we used them for this a few weeks back, no spare, useless tin of magic that turned out to be not so magic, I plugged it temp to get wife and car off A1, AA turned up and did a better temp job once me and the traffic wombles got it to a safer location. They were fully aware of no spare and guy that turned up was great.

    Welcome back.
  13. Google and apple cover the entire younger demographic down to 7 apparently
  14. @Stucan login via Google or apple account not be an option
  15. You should have no issues doing a das as for bike what ever floats your boat, do you need the 1000, 600 is almost as quick and a lighter to flick around. Are you after sports or commuter is it just for fun ?
  16. Yup,tiktok,dark web and spice I think......
  17. Using muscles and tendons a lot, also the bars and controls aren't really setup for an individual, something you can sort when you get your own bike.
  18. If It wasn't for the hot bit I would presume you've just rocked up in hull.......
  19. To quote monty python "we are all individuals" I was fine with CBT, took 3 goes to do mod 1 and passed mod 2 no faults. I had my 125 for a year for gaining experience, some go straight to big bike, I like you was In no rush.
  20. No advice will really help you with the actual riding bit yet, other that relax, which is easy to say and hard to do, being tense on the bike is bad for control.. When I did my CBT it was a mix of newbies and re sits, one woman gave up halfway through, more from the stress she put on herself because she wasn't doing as well as she wanted to be doing and falling behind the rest, place weren't pushing her and we're happy to have one guy just for her. Hopefully another day and you will feel better but tbh if it takes another 2 apart from the financial hit it's irrelevant.
  21. Better to take longer and actually learn something than them just shove you through and straight out on the road.
