  2. I've been through a couple of different tents but I think I've found the ideal with this https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/camping-tent-2-seconds-easy-2-person-freshandblack/_/R-p-308355 It literally takes seconds to put up so if it's raining you aren't faffing for ages. There's only enough room to sleep in it though but they do an awning which adds a lot of space https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/camping-awning-2-seconds-easy-fresh/_/R-p-335656 For the ultimate you can add on the tarp https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/multifunction-tarp-camping-shelter-fresh/_/R-p-312174 All three parts fit in the tent bag. Images upside down as always in my posts but I have no idea how to rotate them
  3. The last point being the most important
  4. I got a lot out of the IAM course when I did it. I went on to do the car course as well. Provided you are able to take on board criticism you be alright. Once I'd passed I didn't carry on going to the meetings and ride outs but the knowledge I picked up from the training certainly helped me.
  5. Without practice of the actual test I’d be surprised if you’d passed. It’s not a hard test but there’s some idiosyncrasies with it that make it tricky. if you’ve got to start again I’d just go for the DAS and never need to sit any more tests
  6. Tiger 1200 has loads of Legroom
  7. sorry you didn’t pass, it’s a tricky test. Did you have any training for the test or did you just go for it?
  8. Their customer service is incredible but this certainly goes next level.
  9. This is why I don't go out for a ride for an hour, I can't be bothered with the faff of getting dressed up. If I'm going out I'm out for hours.
  10. Had a helite ever since it was demo'd on me back in 2017. Never actually needed it but the only time I ride without it is when test riding new bikes or collecting a new bike, it feels odd not having it on a bit like not having a seatbelt on in a car.
  11. I bet you did, that's a lot to carry on the bike. Any photos?
  12. Love going camping on the bike. I've got my setup sorted now with a really comfortable bed, decent chair, table and cooking stuff so I'm a long way from roughing it.
  13. Whatever you get please ensure it's got a slow puncture
  14. These are big money bikes which are no longer being made. I can only see the prices going up so if you can afford to sit on it and wait it should only appreciate. If you do want to move it on you will likely get your money back.
  15. I'd fit something to the bike which will turn on and off when you start and end riding will be a lot more reliable that relying on yourself to charge the batteries, fit the camera to the helmet and start the recoding.
  16. It's very clever, there's also an override that will activate it from a switched live, I have used that now as I wanted to set the CarPlay thing up before setting off but before I had that the auto power on/off worked well.
  17. I've got one of these, works perfectly and fits any bike https://healtech.co.uk/shop/thunderbox-tb-power-distribution-module/
  18. No right handed, maybe it comes from lots of roundabout practice
  19. I must be the odd one out, I much prefer right handers than lefts. Interesting point about high arms, gonna try and pay attention to that.
  20. I've never paid that little in the 7 years I've been riding
  21. How do they operate?
  22. He's from Sunderland
  23. I never bother having it in.
