  1. My first bike was a Honda VFR800. I also got a Harley FatBoy few months later. Sold both when I moved from London when I retired 20 years ago.

  7. Google "motorcycle breakdown cover" . There are hundreds of options for all sorts of different prices.
  8. European breakdown cover is covered by my insurance with Carol Nash. Maybe your insurance has cover included. If not go for a reputable company, e.g. AA, RAC, Green Flag. No idea of cost as mine was included.

  14. yes all my motorcycle clothes shrunk in the wardrobe and cost me a fortune to buy all new.

  17. It's the new roundabout alongside the Redrock in Stockport, it was where you come off and go under the A6 . It's all been resurfaced, which it did need but it's a bit slippy now . OK thanks. I use that one occasionally as well. Good info.

  19. yes the roads are so crowded that driving a car is a bit of a chore, but they are really the only way to carry lots of stuff around.

  22. Yes I find that I often take a longer route to wherever I'm going just for the fun of being on a bike.
