  14. Offer him a tenner for it then get rid. He doubles his money and your peace of mind is settled for less thn a night out Depending on the make some companies offer a checking system. But honestly, untill you've seen it yourself Bill there is not much you can say about it. If he aint willing to get a job and do it properly he aint going to listen to anything we say is he.

  18. I will try and put an appearence in, got a friend stopping over who is biker so will see what he says
  19. i am with akey in not agreeing with the swerve manuver, its inviting acccidents as people taking the tests are not going to be used to the bikes they are on thus knowing how that bike is going to respond. if your on a bike your used to riding then yes it would be better. and the line that states "whe area used for testing has been tried and tested in al conditions " made me laugh, yes its been tested by people who are profesionals, not novices, obviously they aint going to findit a problem. ithink its a good idea to increase the amount of training that is needed, and areas like this for learning in is good, but they are going about it the wrong way and jsut following euopean beurocratic crap
  20. just remembered this thread and can now, having tested both means say that it dont really matter lol. this time i was in my two peice leathers that zip up and there as not an inkling of a difference between that and haing a good fitting jacket that dont zip up
  21. agreed, good luck that man and am i right in thinking that awsome shot is at the top of the mountain at cadwell????
  22. girlsbike2 is where i got my winter jacket and they have lots of nice stuft but best thing to do is go loking, colour shap and size vries alot and the only way of knowing is to try stuff on. just google womens bike gear and you will find lots princess has a shop to http://www.sk1n.co.uk
  23. only safe way is to wear it more, if needs be make her wear it for bout hour every night around the house, will look stupid but atleast she be safe, plus if she is as fussy as she sounds then the words 'tough' and 'luck' spring to mind, and just tell her that if it was her choice of helmet then she wouldnt be getting on the bike. atleast you got her one that is going to do the trick should the crap hit the preverbial and i know you said no to £300 aria but it is a dam good helmet, i have just proved it by not getting hurt on the head as much as the £120 agv i had the last time. and there are arai out there that are cheeper
  24. i ride with two singles sometimes and i was always told when trying a jacket on to raise my hands above my head, if the jacket came up willingly to expose my torso then it wasnt good, if i had trouble lifting cos the jacket was not wanting to move up then it would be ok
  25. i REALY want haga to win, its about time lol but if spies wins i will be chuffed for him
