why does everyone who has tp and tpf&t all look at it like, "the bike is only worth xxxx amount its not worth it" yeh ok so your bike aint worth much and you can repair it, but what happens to the other damage that you could cause and have to pay for, you fall off on your own acount that is fine but the bike slides into a parked car and damages it / slides and hits someones fence or garden or property / god forbid it happens the bike hits curb, flips and hits someone. how you going to pay for that?

before you consider racing, as stu has said, have a few track days, and if you find paying for them easy get saving, on average its around £400 per race, and then there is the tyres, maintenance, van, kit, fuel, practice, hotel/camping. buying a bike in the first place, the trick bits, liquids. your not to old, but i would look into a bigger class of bike, maybe 400 or 600. that way if you are good enough and go for a proper racing career you will win a little lol but you could go out to impress other teams and maybe if you can prove your worth people will start to sponsor you

most helmets cope with glasses but i honestly can say that i would rather get the best helmet then get glasses that fit in, my safety is paramount, i have had fm,agv and arai and worn a shoei and all have been fine

i have a pair and people told me they were good, well, they are hot n sweaty in the warm days and wet and cold in the rain, i dont know if i had a duff pair but they aint rain proof, maybe a little bit but not as advertised. other than that they are comfy but i like tight narrow footed boots.

as i love this time of year i am opening up to everyone a dam good night out, in fancy dress in Swansea with me and my mates. it would be great to meet some of the guys n girls that live in this area and to get a beer with the people i already know. so the date is 31st oct, in swansea, open to anyone, people that need somewhere to stay i recomend the Dragon Hotel, reasonable rates and in the centre so not far to stumble home lol. please come, its as good as the nights out in notts we have had and would be a good winter warmer pm me if you fancy it

as dan said, your not the first lol. i ended up drilling, they are made of light metal which also means that if they bind like yours has they become a nightmare. defo on the WD40 overnight, that will help. then try cutting a slot, if not drill time. good luck mate
