Looking to put some sports bars on my er6f as upgrading the bike to something more sporty is a no go on the insurance. I’ve found a American website but they want 180$ for bars?! Can anyone recommend anywhere in the uk to get some and better yet - does anyone have experience changing a er6f from standard onto sport bars? I’m also looking at getting a seat cowl for the pillion part of it as I hate the look of one big ugly seat

I got quoted 8900 for a r6, so yes 500 odd is very good

Out of Intrest, I’m after a gixxer, any photos and details? Or link to the ad?
-
As the tittle suggests, I’m after a tracker and hopefully it’ll bring my insurance down too.

£100 posted - anyone? -
If you paint the metal in a red oxide paint it’ll stop any rust, then just paint over it to a nicer colour or alternatively you can get a galvanised spray to paint it, or buy it pre-galved

Asking as you have done good ventillation condensation shouldn’t be an issue. Personally I’d go metal just as it would be more secure and you’ve just said you’d have change spare - win win

Selling my Dainese Bonneville jeans, 34 regular brand new with tags - tried on but being 6ft 1 regular is too short for me. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/215582 Looking for £125 posted but open to offers

Carry a 2.75’ Bahco folding knife with me everywhere I go, best tool there is. It’s had so much use it’s only good for cutting cello tape and the point is all bent from lifting hatches, opening things etc so you’d do well to do any damage with it

Seeing if there was any interest in my 2012 Kawasaki ninja 650 er6f, 11.5k miles, full service history, 2 new tyres (sub 200 miles), 2 keys. Great condition bike, only minor rust is on rear swing arm about 1inch squared Will try and get some photos up - asking 3200 but open to serious offers, I’m selling as I’m too tall for it and looking to get either a street triple or some form of super sports I’m yet to decide

Also, can anyone suggest a mount for when using on the bike? - not sure where I would mount it yet although bike is a ER6 and helmet is a Shoei GT Need to to be water proof ideally for scuba diving/ going in the sea, or atleast have a waterproof assseserie such as a case Doesn’t have to ge a go pro - open to suggestions

If they have had to fork out for college expenses and your not an apprentice - they COULD have a leg to claim for but only this is signed document agreed by both parties, You should have never paid for your own fuel if your PAYE, too late now but I would contact a repayment specialist, such as RIFT because you’re entitled up to 45p per mile fire private mileage to a place of work that isn’t 2years + E.g if you work in a office you can’t claim, if your expected to travel from site to site you can - again only if your PAYE Boss sounds like a nob, weather your the boy on the bottom that makes the tea or right hand man you shouldn’t be treated differently and excluded from bonuses etc, I did my time with bunch of bully, best thing I did was leave. In summary, I would let them write all the letter they want, They can’t claim back your wages as you earnt them money - it was on their interest to have you. If they do send a letter just let them know you’ll be fighting it, seeking indepentant financial advise and will be counter charging them for you lost time, earnings and stress dealing with their claims.

3250 and you could by my 2012 er6F with only 11k miles, full service history, 2 keys and 2 new tyres Just sayin’

Brought my first house at 22 (25 now) which I currently over over pay each month to avoid interest fees Plan on buying another before I’m 27 to rent out, from there I plan to have atleast 3 in my lifetime. Currently have a work pension which is puss poor but have a stocks and shares ISA that I pay 100pcm onto and get a return on quartly, then reinvest that back into the system. High interest ISA that I can have easy access too, think it’s only 3% but atleast I can access it if needed. Going to start a seperate pot for stocks and shares to manage myself, the ISA above is manage for me and they take 0.75% off profits so it’s no brainer I’d like to think it’ll all be worth it in a few years

Looking for some short levers for a 2012 er6f, can anyone advise on good brands and retailers? Also how easy/hard they are to change as a complete novice

Good, you should stay in your miserable hole. Amazing that a grown man feels the need to belittle someone on the internet.

As the title says really. I’m not very tech savvy but would like something to browse on, watch films on and occasionally work on if I need to work but don’t fancy going to the office. I assume I need to buy Microsoft office as a separate item as well as some kind of anti virus? Anything else I need to be aware of? Looking for somthibg decent sized, e.g 14 inches but open to all suggestions as I say - I’m not very savvy! All I do know is, I don’t fancy Apple prices!

As per the title. What sector? I’m currently a projects manager for a M&E firm whilst so learning to estimate. I’m wondering if doing QS work rather than estimating might be a better career move? How do you get started? As for my current estimating situation. I’m learning in a very old school manor off someone that’ll be retiring in a year or so. I’ve made a few basic spread sheets to avoid doing takeoffs by pen and pad over and over again - but I’m wondering if there are any benificial courses I could look into to help me along and increase my productivity etc. I don’t want to be a manager that doesn’t understand basic QS work and only had minor experience in estimating.

Whilst your right about there being 100s of others it makes it unlikely yours will get broken into, I disagree about the hour to get into it. We used them on our site in Cambridge. Got broken into 3 tines and they was in and out within 4 mins first time. We then added additional security, got 2no heavy heavy duty padlocks and I welded a box over the to prevent a battery grinder - so instead they cut the doors hinges and locking handles. We refitted the door, I welded Hines internally so they’re no longer exposed, plus the additional 6mm plate boxes over the 2no padlocks we also then wrapped a 13mm chain around the doors to each other. Final time they just cut a 600x600 hole in the top of it!! If someone wants to get in, you can only slow them down. Or hopefully detour them by making it look too much hassle. 3rd time when they cut the roof they didn’t even take anything?! I think they was just f**king with us by this point. Of course the CCTV we had on them (which was hidden) always seemed to fail at the time of break in?! - site scumbags it’s always a inside job. About 10k of copper taken and probably another 10k on tools

If you can; Stainless steel or galvanised metals don’t rust

I just brought a Dianesse one - ill let you know how it is, going out now for a trial -
Apologies if this is wrong section ( I think it’s not! ) I’m looking to see who/how many members are active and live near me? I’d love to be able to go out with others - although I’m still very new and would hope to get pointers ect but most importantly meet new people interested in bikes ! See a lot of bikers out around my way but too awkward to try to strike up a convosation! 24, 2012 er6f with about 200 miles experience haha
