  1. 180 million, just how did they arrive at that figure? Their lawyer must have been crap!
  2. Time to change station or have you got one of those classic radios the knobs have fallen off and your stuck with one station
  3. I know politics gets you lot frothing at the mouth but this made me smile simply because we’re free enough for it to happen but of course you won’t hear it on a radio station cos we’re not that free! I’ve heard it and it would end up as mainly long beeeeeep! One of the main contenders for Christmas number one is a song called “Boris Johnson is a F**king C**t by the k****! Is number 2 on Spotify’s official charts and number 3 on another!
  4. No I have not tried the bucket test and probably won’t but I’ve not had wet hands yet. Should add I pick the least rainy days to ride so while I have been caught in down pours many times and they’ve stayed dry inside they’ve not had a rigorous testing on that score.
  5. Decided the cheapo eBay heated waistcoat was worth a go for my husband, it arrived last week from China and it’s surprisingly well made with a kind of velvety/short pile fur lining but is somehow still quite thin. It feels nicer than my far pricier Keis version and the integrated button is better than the Keis bulky add on Gave my other half one of my Keis battery packs and we set off for a ride. He didn’t switch it on until he got cold which is in my book is a rooky mistake because staying warm is much easier than trying to get warm and is also far more demanding on whatever heat source you’re using but still it did a great job, he said it warmed him up nicely. It’s a bargain so thanks for that @onesea The downside is as onesea said the sizing. My husband is xxl in uk sizing and the xxxl is nowhere near it, the xxxl fits my medium/large size son. Fortunately it work undone!
  6. I had a feeling you might have something like that up your sleeve! Have you got a mic stand so you can karaoke and drum and the same time? Or you not fancying getting a divorce just yet?
  7. The joy of an electronic drum kits is you can use headphones and the ear splitting racket is reduced to little tippy tappy noises.
  8. Ive tried but not succeeded in finding a pair of mitts where all the fingers are together that were good enough quality to work. Most of them don’t have enough insulating material or aren’t designed for motorcycling (large and flappy like oven gloves). Even the well rated (for skiing) Black Diamond mercury mitts put a divider inside the glove between the middle fingers, dunno why, they probably think it improves dexterity but it doesn’t. I’m happy with the Helds, they are plenty warm enough, with merino liners and heated grips they are warm to too hot. Quite cheap from SBS as well.
  9. At the beginning of the first lockdown my dishwasher stopped working. I ignored it and then ignored it some more. After a couple of weeks of washing everything up by hand I noticed there was a faint whiff in the kitchen... I opened the dishwasher door to a thick layer of new life crustily waving over the bilge water I had completely forgotten about. The smell was something else. I shut the door again and desperately try to think of a way of not dealing with it but had nothing, even buying a new dishwasher wouldn’t get me out of it Eventually I found a bone jammed in the impeller courtesy of the little darlings being too lazy to scrape their plates. Theyve jammed it up twice more since. I’ve now threatened to come to their house when they leave home and break their dishwasher, I’m considering seeing it through
  10. Mark could gives us a queens speech, the sweary version of what she’s really thinkings gotta be better than the real thing
  11. She is sweet. Some people are like pets aren’t they Chap in a cap grates. His reviews are mainly good but there’s something about him that I can’t like. A bit tightly wound maybe? Or perhaps it’s that he’s given himself a nickname that he tells you at the beginning of every review, just seems a bit knobby. I don’t mind Anthony from Revzilla cos he’s clearly having a competition with himself to see just how fast he can talk!
  12. It appears they’re on offer. The vids funny, reading out loud is clearly not her forte, just as well a lot of people get shacked up together based on looks alone Ive wrongly been referring to them as sub zero and they’re actually called minus zero. I’ll amend the other post. https://www.five-gloves.shop/five-wfx-skin-minus-zero-waterproof-adult-gloves-black/
  13. It was probably Geofferz unvoting you after trying out the Swarfega lube advice, he might of had a second invite if it hadn’t of been for that slip up..
  14. The Five minus zero WFX are incredibly warm and for me a good fit. Easily the most comfortable winter glove I own and I have a lot of gloves to choose from. I have such a large number of gloves because I kept buying them in the hope that the next pair would be warm enough and I stopped buying them when I found the Five Minus Zeros and the Held lobster claw mitts (those I use with merino wool liners). The latter combo is the warmest but bulky as mitts tend to be. I wore the Five minus zeroes in relentlessly cold temperatures where it really was sub zero day after day and they did the job, chilly fingertips after a couple of hours but that was without heated grips, with heated grips they’re very toasty, so toasty you have to turn the grip heat down. I got mine for £70 because at the time Motolegends were selling them off, apparently Motolegends considered them too warm for most people’s needs so they were getting rid. Nuts if you ask me, every winter motorcyclists complain about their fingers. They worked out so well I paid full price for a pair for my other half and even though initially he wasn’t that thrilled (I don’t think he liked the look of them) I don’t think I’ve seen him wear another pair of gloves when it’s cold!
  15. Well that is enlightening and not the sort of words I expect to escape Tiggies’s mouth without severe provocation. Dang.
  16. Do it. A great film.. well without the ‘r’ in it it was.
  17. Because you don’t thing we’d stoop that low???!
  18. oh ‘wish you were here’ ?! The film that is- for you younguns
  19. If Gerontious, James in Brum, Xtreme or Rennie get one vote I’m going full Trump on this. Oh balls I can see the vote at the top!
  20. Yerp, You wudda thought so.
  21. The liners are unbeatable on the heat front but with comfortable gloves over the top they are bulky so over a long distance (I consider that the 3+ hour point) I find they tire my hands due to having to grip harder, that doesn’t mean they’re not great, just depends what you’re doing. I use my heated grips frequently. Naturally a cold blooded soul apart from the hottest summer weeks I like the help of heated grips, I don’t want to be thinking about my hands when I ride. Good gloves make a big difference and since I bought my ‘Five Minus Zero’ gloves and my bulkier Held lobster claws I don’t bother with the heated liners. With those gloves you have to get used to adjusting your grip to accommodate the bulk and you’re in a warm place without the discomfort of a liner.
  22. Grrrrrrrrrrr That thing that kills you when you have it and kills you when you don’t!
  23. Well you’ll be missed but works work. We’ve been down 5k a month since March so I’ve gone from loathing the W word to being damn grateful
  24. I hope you like her fully clothed too?!
