Sounds like bliss. Shame on them for letting you get briefly chilled fingers though, a terrible oversight on their part, I’m sure they’ll be an app update soon -

The mini of course, the one you used to look at the rain and wonder if it would start, the one with a gear stick that really was a stick that simply disappeared through a cross cut in the carpet floor, the one where the locks would freeze shut with no hope of getting a tiny metal key in, the one with ‘heaters’ that would finally put put a wisp of warm air just as you arrived at your destination, the one with windscreen wipers that were too busy having a party to effectively clear the windscreen, the one where you had to know exactly how far to pull out the choke and how long leave it warming before you could start it, the one before abs that you could skid around in, the one that had by the end of its life been more than one car because parts were endlessly replaceable and it was cheap because seemingly anyone could work on it. Wish I hadn’t let it go, great car. -
So long as there’s people too young to ride and people too old and infirm to drive they’ll be buses. Once this Covid crap is over buses will be back to being the way to travel- better for the environment and cheaper than paying a congestion charge. I see buses in the future becoming far more utilised as a mode of transport. The golden age of the battery powered bus is coming to a city near you soon

Oddly the inside of my car doesn’t ever need defrosting, maybe the aircon keeps it dry? My first mini though often had more ice on the inside than out. ! -

Totally understand it is available in the guardian as well but I read a variety of newspapers, gives a better view of the various sides of crazy that form opinion and by form I mean congeal in a stagnant pool of their own effluent -
Year on year bike sales are increasing and the Covid malarkey has pushed them up even further so it’s not all doom n gloom.

Well he is a rude boy then isn’t he! No he didn’t but my fathers 6’ 4” and even now at 73 (when he feels it necessary) a frightening prospect so the guard accepted he was a pensioner and left him alone

Well if we’re going to get bogged down into the details of eating noodle soup then yes the spoon is a bit shallow and really two spoons is better- a spork and soup spoon. But the tines are perfect, they pick up just the right amount of noodles and unlike chopsticks or just a fork you get the delightful combo of the right amount of noodles and some soup to flavour them. Other combinations leave you drinking the soup and eating the noodles separately. So a good spork is still the winner in my book. The others in my house poured scorn on the spork idea but they’re always gone from the cutlery drawer and are found languishing in a bowl of what was noodle soup or a sticking out of a Tonkotsu noodle cup. You’ve just got to find ones with a deeper bowl like those above. -
Is it deliberate or can he not be bothered to remember her name? I did my dads shopping for 6 months until he could get finally get online delivery slots. He went to the supermarket himself once at the beginning of lockdown and the security guard told him he couldn’t enter the shop because it was OAP hour. He laughed and said “you flatterer” and walked in, the guard chased after him and explained it was pensioner time and he had to leave. He’s 73

Not an issue but in the noodle wars a spork is the winner. -

Normally yes Price is overpriced unless they’re half priced which they were. You’re better off with Robert Welch for the money but then you move into the realm of not being practical for camping, large, heavy good quality. As for chop sticks they’re a bit crap with noodle soup, a spork is the way forward. -

Brace yourself, the perfect camping cutlery (which with the way things are will likely stay immaculate til 2022 ) has arrived, gold coloured is good right?! Now don’t all rush at once asking for a link -
Fortunately the NHS treats people regardless of how stupid or risky the thing they do is, even something as daft as riding a motorbike or playing the majority of sports. That’s freedom.

So far the MCN has done the better job than MAG on setting the world on fire

I do get it but mostly I light the fire with it, couldn’t tell you the last time I read one

I am a member, by member I mean I give them membership money to keep up their good work and have nothing else to do with it. When it comes to renewal I groan because like everyone else on here you don’t know or hear about what they achieve but they are surprisingly effective at lobbying parliament and influencing the laws that effect motorcycling. Their opinion is sought and has made changes in legislation up to EU level where they have stopped several daft ‘think tank’ ideas ever seeing the light of day by having representation with a reasoned argument swiftly available. Their view on helmet law is it should be a choice. They understand this is a controversial point of view and seem almost apologetic about this freedom of choice policy but they dont wish to be disrespectful to their heritage. They did sterling work dissuading Birmingham city council on congestion charging of motorcycles. The list @ZX7R has posted is not some incidental or minor list of victories, they were instrumental in stopping these things. This is because they don’t mess around like some ineffectual charity jumping up and down on the sidelines trying to get someone to listen. They find and pay politicians who ride bikes themselves to represent us so Im happy to cough up the pennies to pay for that.

If you make sure the hose is straight then it having 3 separate legs mean it’s easy to make it stable. It’s not going to be as stable as the one you’re currently carting around but it will be easier to make it level. The stoves pan support arms are obviously smaller so if you have a 28cm frying pan on there (which I often do) you’re pushing it. Then again it’s caused me no trouble. I’m guessing you’ll be lighting your stove in your tent regardless of commentary so I’ll skip the scream emoji but please tell me your tents fully open and your ready to leave ie the stove isn’t blocking your exit. Hopefully you have a fire retardant canvas tent. I’ve just ordered some camping cutlery, if it arrives tomorrow I’ll post a pic, I’m sure it’ll go down a storm here. -
