Supposedly you set up an app then Bluetooth to the gloves and they automatically maintain a temperature of your choice. Could be interesting! -
Thats true right now but news from France indicates freight may be allowed to start moving from tomorrow. Practice for Brexit- govt assures us that plans are made etc. Why does that not fill me with confidence? Possibly because my BS detector is finely tuned after this last incredibly disappointing year.

Decided in the end to try Ixon heated gloves. Insanely expensive and they get delivered tomorrow. Be able to review them after my trip to the north after Christmas. -
Not really. Its what borders are for. See that apparently the French are playing to allow freight to move tomorrow.

Bit harsh on the padre as if I remember the 60's saw quite a lot of religious being slaughtered by various factions left and right in South America. I'm not religious at all (humanist if anything) but some of the few people who give the slightest toss about distressed seamen are the various seaman's missions. Governments and commercial interests frequently leave men to rot on deathtrap ships with no wages, food or chance of repatriation. And yes it happens in the UK.

Have to say I wouldn't clas raesewell as a twat. A bit pedantic maybe but nowhere close to twatishness. I think the fix is in and it's all the fault of these illegal postal votes same as in the MOTY poll. The corruption is blatant and its obviously been influenced by the Chinese government. Why else would dynax have a paltry single vote? Rigged obviously.

Quoting the daily fail isn't always the most factual of sources. Haven't read it for over 10 years. Of course if you want a left leaning equivalent the Guardian is pretty good! I frequently have to go and have a lie down in a darkened room after reading anything by Polly Toynbee or Owen James. Bad for my health.

Statistically most thieves target their own neighbourhoods. So the people they are stealing from are often equally disadvantaged but not everyone from a "bad" area is a thief. The robberies that tend to get in the news tend to be when more wealthy individuals get turned over by a more discerning scrote.

I dunno i think the better off at birth rotters are just better at hiding their rotteness. Instead of bashing you over the head and robbing you they go into politics and do it so much more subtly.

One reason people steal is simply because they can and know the chances of being caught are negligible and if they do get caught punishment is a slap on the wrist. I'm not rich but I've never thought of stealing someone else's stuff. I work for everything I own. Face it some people are just born rotten.

I'd noticed that and had wondered. Anguilla has a miniscule population (15,003) so its actually amazing they have a prison at all.
