I did, I got mine 3 weeks ago now. They gave me guarantee, MOT history, past buyers information, really detailed pictures of all the important parts of the bike, it only did 8k miles, and it was at a good price so I just went for it. When it arrived I did a proper inspection with and found no problems apart from a flat battery that needed a 5 hour charge. But its up to you at the end of the day go with your gut - and make sure you are buying from a good dealer with great reputation, avoid cowboys or you will get done.

To answer the question the hottest bits will fade first whilst the others will fade less, so you will have patches, I would imagine the middle would fade first, whilst the outer will have a not so perfect ring shape. Time will tell though.

Saw about 8 Harley riders today in total and I nodded at all of them, 5 totally ignored me, 1 nodded back and two literally shook their head in disapprovement which was sooooooooo funny I was actually laughing inside my crash helmet. I just nod at allllllllllllllll of them for the hell of it now its hilarious, guess they really hate people on adventure bikes .

I didint even know that, that's good to hear In some cases you will just have to leave a deposit, which you get refunded unless you damage the bike whilst testing.

New bike. A 2017. You can get mirrors via any Honda dealership they are unchanged from 2016 to today. Yea and I did my Mod2 on a Africa twin :] it was a nonsense fail, passed it easily 2nd time, the insurance is £600 a year.

Its a crf1000l actually 2017 model. Yea I do not like the ebay ones they are cheap and probably will suffer from vibrations etc. Also I am not sure if they are the right height etc

Hi my honda africa twin fell over today as I was wheeling it over some really wet mud, the mirrors took a big hit and I am looking to replace them. But I can not find the original mirrors anywhere!!! Anyone know any good alternatives? Cheers

I see some riders do it but not around corners, I thought they where just stretching their legs. Even my motorbike instructor did it when he was training me, and he is a rider of 30 years experience and has riding badges from the army, and Police (high speed stuff). So he is pretty damn good.

Alright thanks guys, Ill just give them the hahaha, but yea today it was a bmw right up my butt for about 3 miles then we left the shitty back road and joined a 60mph long straight road - with no other roads joining this stretch, so you do not have to worry about cars pulling out on you. I hammered the throttle reached 85mph looked in my mirror and the little twat was a little spec, felt good. Then I slowed down to 60

Hi on my commute to work in the country side there is some back narrow lanes which are two way, and have they consist of really tight sweeping corners most of which are blind. I go around them about 30mph but I get cars stuck right up my arse. I even see on coming cars doing about 40-50mph cutting corners onto my lane, from my point of view its a deadly arse road and I am not sure why these w**kers are right up my arse. It is like everyone on this stretch of road has 0 hazard perception. But at the same time I feel pressured to go faster when someone is up my butt hole. How should I deal with this situation?
