the best thing you can do is buy a waterproof suit from a builders supply and that will be 100% waterproof

Not me that's for certain!
We had two turn up then passed some other lads from work at the side of the road who also decided to try and show off by riding as dangerous as they can to catch us and pass us
and that is the very reason i dont ride in groups, just ride on my own always

My Nob of the Day goes to James in Brum . Yes , a fellow member although not currently active . And before there's an outcry I'm sure he will take this in good spirit . Right then . You know that reserve fuel line that you replaced on the ER5 ? The big chunky one that was about three inches too long ? The big chunky one that you folded in half to make it fit under the side panel ? Folded it in half thus preventing any fuel from flowing when the bike goes onto reserve . Yes that one . The one that's been doing my head in for weeks . Nob !
yep it will probably have a kink in it somewhere now

A great Woman, a proper head of state with a strong connection to my home country through the oldest alliance in the world.
One question comes to mind.
Why on earth does a 7x year old guy doesn't step aside and handover the crown to his son allowing the country a more modern up to date King...
probably because he reckons he has waited long enough for this and by god now he is going to grab it with both hands

Hi,
I have a year 2000 Suzuki GS500e that I have owned since new and has covered 1700 miles only in that time.
I bought it as a bit of a mid-life thing when I reached the grand old age of 50, which now seems very young to me!
It has been kept undercover all those years and only returned to the road very occasionally when I felt the need to ride again!
I have recently got it back on the road again and had 2 new Bridgestone tyres fitted, oil and filter change and new plugs.
I've started riding it again but not sure if I want to continue or not.
It has a new M.O.T and is in great condition.
I am at the stage now of deciding if I want to keep it or sell it on.
It is obviously a very difficult bike to value as I have seen wildly differing prices on these.
Does anyone have any idea of what would be a fair price would be if I decided to part company.
I'm not angling for offers, just want to weigh up my options.
Thanks for any help
Andy
is it the one with the clip on style bars ?
