On the other hand , my GSXR 1100 has presumably not been ridden since I sold it four years ago . A DVLA check shows it untaxed and with no MOT . It's a mystery to me what happened to it . The guy rode it away alright . He was only a little bloke and the back end was raised a bit because I put a GSXR 1000 shock on it . Maybe he thinks it's an investment . Who can spot Bob ?

Beating the elements, with decent clothing, is part of the challenge. I don't just mean rain, but also heat. Not that that has been an issue this year. I don't remember seeing the thermometer over 20 degrees and it is June!

They were doing the same at Glen Lough camp site, not sure if that still happens though as he now puts up tents for visiting bikers although I did see one or two people in their own tents there yesterday. These are the most famous wild campers for TT, been in the same place for years down at the Dhoon Glen
yes the german guys, have rode past them many times

err how long do you tour for.... I can usually get away with a 30l tail bag and a tank bag, and that's for a fortnight. I've never heard of anyone posting clothes before
some people do when they go over to the IOM for race weeks
