  1. No not specifically trying to steal it, some drunken idiot outside the kebab shop on Monday night trying to go for a ride and broke part of the top yoke where the ignition barrel is fixed to, having looked at it more closely it is a design flaw as when the steering lock is engaged the top yoke is the weakest part as it's cast alloy rather than made from a billet, I have had an idea to reinforce it but it's going to be a full weekends work to do it.
  2. Secured the barrel so at least she is still useable luckily no other damage has been done but for the time being I will have to carry a lock and chain with me, still fuming though.
  3. Totally agree, I would prefer though that A1 category could be done via a school and that they should be able to sign you off for the full licence.
  4. Not as good a morning as it should have been, I will have my coffee then see if I can secure the barrel so I can still use the bike. I guess the police gave up looking for him as I saw him stumbling about a couple of hours later down the other street, I was half tempted to go out and twat him but I restrained myself
  5. Don't know what he was trying he was off his head, and I still haven't eaten got no appetite now, absolutely fuming.
  6. Went to the club night tonight no food being served as the chef is off and no one else to cover, decided to call in at local take away for a bite to eat, ended up with some drunken b@stard that wouldn't leave the bike alone and broke the fixings for the ignition barrel on the top yoke, the police are looking for him but £70 for a top yoke so not worth going through insurance doesn't even come close, not happy at all.
  7. My route going anti clockwise this time, stopped at Pateley Bridge for 10 mins or so to stretch my legs and have a drink, didn't bother with anything to eat as I set the slow cooker going before I left so I had a nice hot meal to come home to. For anyone interested there is a 1940's weekend in grassington from the 17th to 19th of this month https://grassington.uk.com/grassington-community/grassington-1940s-weekend/ As usual I will get the video asap this time though I might attempt my own backing track for it so it might take longer before it's on YT

  14. @Granty Hope you have a good one
  15. No I just mean you can't always judge someone by the state of their gardens, and usually if they have money they will probably have a gardener to do it anyway
  16. If you are prepared to wait and happy to do A2 she will be able to do it on a 245cc or above from February next year, which opens up a whole new range of bikes to choose from.
  17. Not always true, my garden is an absolute jungle because I hate gardening and prefer to spend the time on the bike
  18. That's a proper ***** trick.
