I work 7-5 four days a week to have Fridays off. It really helps. I was already working 7-5 so a win win for me.

Thank you @fastbob

Thanks. Will try to find time this weekend but most likely next weekend now.

1k, to me. I think I could not sell it for that.

I think the responsibility for roadworthiness and possibility of being sued if something went wrong puts me off more. If someone wanted to pay me a hundred quid a day to rent my bike and they were insured I could be tempted. But then I am a bit skint at the moment and my bike is work about 1k.

I guess people just like talking about sat navs.
It’s the difference between a forum and a database for me. If I just want reviews or thoughts I would search but probably on the internet asa whole. I come here and ask questions because I also want conversation/interaction/engagement along with knowledge.

If I could easily afford a satnav I would have one. For how little I need one I try on Map and planning to get me near to where I am going. Occasionally I use google maps with earbuds in.

As in glue degenerated? How do I mend it? Just new glue?
-
It seems ages since I posted here asking advice about my bike.
the right grip (my grips are heated) seems to slip round. It is not totally loose and I can accelerate but the grip moves round meaning that the cable for the heating limits the amount of rotation. I can turn it back and reset it but it keeps happening.
how do I resolve this? Has the glue degenerated? Was it glue? They were fitted before I got the bike.

Hi gang, I really enjoyed my rides today to and from work. Dry towards, sun out and a real feeling of connection with the bike. Bliss.

Could you ride one there from somewhere else for a giggle?

I like public transport. It frustrates me that it is cheaper to take a private vehicle, excluding cost of owning one. Thing is when you have to already own one it is cheaper to drive than take public transport.
