I need o rings for the oil cooler. Where can I get them today. Would a packet of o rings from tool station screw fix do me?

And I realise that the 12kn bear no relation to whether gaskets are crushed only the force on the nut
-
Have managed to cinch the nuts up to twelve KN, the exhaust is in place. I have no idea whether that has compressed the gaskets enough to form a seal.
how do I know? Oh and I picked twelve KN out of the air it’s not a spec in the book. -
I’m with @fastbob, if nothing else it would be really interesting.

Have cardboard on seat, I am supporting the bottom with another strap. I feel like I am getting somewhere this time. It is not easy but it is not as impossible feeling as before.

what are you doing to it?
I shattered by sump
and bent my exhaust. Have replaced the sump now I need to put my new second hand exhaust on. Put it all back together and fill with oil.

In my case it was a want for a long time but not enough of a want and then it was the most practical solution to a need. Even now I don’t feel as Nerdy about bikes as I have been about other interests such as climbing and that is because I have the kids as a distraction from having room for my own interests.
I suspect like a lot of people my age there are so many consumables that are considered by us all as necessities and the last fifteen years of financial situation has been in the context of the financial crisis. A spare few thousand for a hobby just isn’t available.

What bike is that?

I think these flight tests are brilliant. Better to learn before they are occupied.
I worry a bit that so much of the reaching to the stars is in private hands but excited by what they are doing.

It looked like it was on fire when it landed. Did it explode later?

I do 7-5 four days a week. Really suits me, means a Friday off also.

This keeps showing up in my unseen even though I have seen it. My dadmin head is not enjoying this.

If my bike was working I would be riding it. But that would be to work.

WHY?
When I see people walking for miles to go to a "school" risking their lives, schools with no walls or windows, not to mention that desks are the pupils own knees, where a the wee man says shooting and shelling is as normal as aeroplanes in London. Teachers keep doing their job despite not being paid for over 3 years.
Where a children takes on himself to teach his friends because they have no teacher.
And then we have the teachers in this country complaining at any excuse about anything just to come on the news or because their raise is "only" the same as the inflation.
How about teachers in the UK go and spend a couple months in Yemen, any country in Africa or any other similar place so they know what is teaching when the only thing you have to work with is your imagination.
Do you mean that when some people have it worse people who have it bad should not complain?

She hates change so getting her on another bike is a nightmare then the test ride she just says "is this one 9 grand better than the other one"
The question is not is it 9k better but is it (the likely depreciation over your ownership) worth more than the other.

I have very few of these, just the one or two for each time I have tried to mend my bike which I have only had 18months.
so far there was when the Carbs were leaking, I managed to take them off and service but then there was a leak which seemed different. First one had been because the float was keeping it open. New one was because of a crack in the float bowl. That crack must have been me over tightening the drain screw. Not the end of the world that one, I took a bike that would not start and got it to the point I could ride it to the garage. Shame I did not take time when putting the brake callipers back on (I had decided to service the brakes). The bike felt weird when I got to the garage. They pointed out later that the calliper was not fixed to anything.
