Hi guys, I dunno how many of you will remember me from years ago, but I figured I'd pop by anyway. Bit of a strange one to return on but will see how it goes. I think the EU does more for us overall than being without it, I think it helps a lot, and I like being able to travel easily around Europe. Some of the posts earlier in the thread about displacing folk are really key ones for me that regardless of other impacts, that risk should be considered (although I'm sure if it came to it it'd be a staged thing, meaning that visas etc could be processed over many months so there wouldn't be a mass booting out of workers from Europe who were here). However in terms of the peace the EU has brought... I think this link is very informative, although has it's own obvs bais... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/ ... ences.html

On their large driveway or other legal - offroad space obviously! Well was actually on the back alley access to the garage (which is all private property ) as sadly my insurance on the 125 has run out so we couldnt go to a nice large carpark. Good luck mate, and let me know if you stil lwant the bike and we'll sort it all out, if not it'll be going on ebay next monday (so gives you time to pass, celebrate then let me know if your after it). Let us know how it goes

I've no passed expereince with your arse (no not an offer). but the vara will make it easy. It'd prob the best 125 to make the trip on, will eat those miles for breakfast -
Neil, jsut ask the engineer (I assume thats whoes marked it up, either that or client (in which case its yes sir no sir 3 bags full)) and ask em to mark up the drawing correctly, then give em to you, or else it will slow down the work as you have to keep going back and checking whats the changes to teh mark ups Unless i've mis=understood completly, in which case sorry Just think though, soon its pint o'clock F**k it, need the money but really really cba with this whole overtime malarkey, should be out of here by now!

Last year a car decided to write off my er6f. It was metalic blue. The tank and rear right fairing are still mint with no damage, as is the front mudguard. The belly pan was black, with the right hand side damaged but the left still usable. Now, I have got a metalic green front right main fairing, and a silver belly pan (right hand side). The rear left fairing I can find cheapest in bright orange, and am keeping an eye out for a useable left fairing. my question to you is, should I go with a multi coloured bike and leave all tehse fairings in random colours (for the lolz), or my orignal plan of just getting cheap fairings then respraying the belly black, leaving the tank blue and all the rest white? What say you?

Fed up with footpumps?
spafe2302 replied to Remy's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
Out of curiosity how much heat will a tyre pick up if it goes 2-300 yards, then is standing for a few mins while I fill up/que and pay? Would this still be ok enough? (not taking the mick, Didnt realise this, so wondering if I can get away with using the closest garage before I go out. And I know its accurate as I filled it up before I took it to get checked by tyre fitters after some hassal with one of the tyres) -

Do you mean after a flat? Otherwise is tehre a reason you dont just use a garage? most of the petrol garages round our way have air pumps, so every couple of weeks just pop in while re-filling and top them up -
Condolences, Sounds like your friend certianly accounted well for himself to have so many turn out. Hope you can not feel too shaken by it, Live your life to the fullest in memory of him as he would have wanted you to. Don't seem half as important now, but my f**k it is over the project im working on apparently closing its london offices soon and moving the work to singapore, meaning i'm not sure where that leaves me as a trainee come september. Have to wait til the higher ups release any more info

that makes more sense sus, sorry, mis-understood what you meant. sounds like a sensible plan in that case lol.

But that would mean people would learn to drive in huge cc jeeps and such (or small vans), then jump in a smaller cc sports car (assuming they wanted to do this). Also would penalise people who could only afford a 1.2 or whatever when they are young and doing their test as they would have to re-do their test when they could afford a slightly bigger car. Good idea, I hadnt thought of something like that before, but would need to be implimented slightly differently

Check the bulbs in the rear indicators. If they are ok, check the wiring to/from them (they may have been pulled lose in teh crash). Check starter wires are all still conencted. Check the side stand sensor is still working/hasnt been knocked loose. Generally check over the bike for any lose wires, or broken ones. Hope this helps
