Its not being followed in a car that bothers me. Its the fact that I was being followed in a car by somebody who doesn't even ride a bike that gets on my nerves. i was told if my examiner turned up ina car to do my best to 'lose' them in the distance what they can't see they can't fail you on and if they make you wait for them to catch up they can't add time onto the test to make up for it, I also thought you couldn't test someone on a category you don't hold yourself

need to do a arive image cos my hard drive is buggered size of existing drive 74.52gb size of other drive 74.5gb will it do it will it F**k keeps telling me they must be the same size F**K IT

i recently fitted new ndicators to my thundercat and had the same problem individually wired in they were dim wired both up together they flashed like hazards much head banging and trying different solutions i decided to swap the wires over (they were both black) hey presto working normally and brightly no probs since then either

got some nikwax spray on stuff and gave them a good dousing particularly round the seams hopefully his will have helped, will find out in the next downpour can't be far off can it it is summer after all

what did he actually day was the problem then? as bigshot said could be just need to get the miles under your belt

could just need sprucing up had them for about 18 months or so, not been washed or anything but then not really been used in a downpour either only used occasionally, if i know rain is def on cards i'll wear my textiles.

so just got caught in a moderately heavy downpour and discovered that my 100% waterproof trousers aren't and in fact i would probably have been just as wet without wearing them ffs anyone recommend a decent pair that i vcan chuck under the seat

Doing it on Wednesday about 4.30...... Yes we used to have a test centre in Newark that used familiar roads did my driving test there used to live in newark myself.

I've had a look at the web site and sent an email to John Wilson asking them if they are up to the challenge of taking on the 'pupil from hell' - anyway I will see what they say and recommend. Did you do a DAS course with them and take your tests in Netherfield? ..if so did you pass them okay? did mine just before the new test came in luckily the test centre was in sutton then so it was roads i knew well. John is brilliant as are the rest of the guys that work for him and they're not shy to tell you you've cocked up, rememnber john ripping into me cos when we'd stopped i'd changed up to sixth instead of down to first when stopping (my 125 had all six straight down ). I'm sure he'll sort you out i know you've spent a lot of money already and more than you intended to but it is worth it in the end trust me, a change could be just what you need I have been in contact with the owner/trainer 'John' that you mentioned this evening and he as offered me a free 1hr ride and assement, a sort of mock test to see what he thinks and tell me straight. Its in a different area around Mansfield way that I dont know so that will be good too as it should keep me on my toes and allow him to independently assess how I do etc. when you going to do that?

there are quite afew on ebay been looking myself just not got round to ordering and doing it yet

No I have been taking the tests in Lincoln. but following on from 4 attempts to get the mod 1 - I am getting rather test and lesson weary now as i have been doing it since feb. (strange thing is i have had a car licence 40 years of heavy mileage driving and not had an accident) if you felt like changing instructor i would recommend bike skool http://www.bikeskool.co.uk/ if you don't mind coming out to sutton that is, i did all my training with them and they don't just teach you to pass a test, you never know someone elses input may be the thing you need. To give up at this point so close to getting your licence would be more expensive than just giving it another go in my opinion.

where do you go for your tests? is it nottingham? don't give up it'll all ber worth it when you have that licence and can have the freedom of two wheels

got new tail tidy got new indicators to attach to tail tidy got no nuts to fit the indicators as they are missing from the kit so now no bike until they come assuming supplier sends me some. i've been to local auto factors and hardware shops the nuts should be m10 but the pitch of the threads is wrong on all the nuts they had. F**K IT

i dropped the schools 500 kwak going into gravel car park bit too fast grabbed fist full of front brake i new shouldn't do it, ended up in a ditch with bike on top of me 1 week before test could barely walk after, still did test though the week after then doctors the monday after my test ended up doing physio for a month for torn hamstring stretched tendons and damaged cruciate

did you do any road riding today or was it all round cones etc? i thought cbt was an all day thing for one fee consisting of off road basic controls then a road ride to demonstrate you can do everything you've been taught safely on the road.... at least thats what happend when i did mine

F**K IT this weeks holiday gone too quick, back to work in morning and i now have acold and feel like death oh well 4 weeks to the next one
