2. Not your Audi then, lucky i was going to block you God no I wouldn't even accept a lift in that P.O.S I do drive German but Merc rather than VW Cheers Ian
3. Mainly the ZXR but everyone likes a busa! Hate to correct one of our leaders but it clearly says ZRX on the tin ZXR totally different kettle of scaly chappies. Cheers Ian
4. Just realised the pics of the ZRX and the Busa were taken in the same spot in the pub car park. Aaah pubs ! remember them? Cheers Ian
5. Looking very good and looks like someone was working on your garden for you as well ! Sorted Sir. Cheers Ian
6. Clearly a woman of taste ! She would have liked the Harris then ! Cheers Ian

8. Get it right ian they would have a whales of a time I think there was something fishy about him. Mammal ! Doh! At first I thought he was being sheepish. Cheers Ian
9. Send him a pm and invite him to play I think you and Six30 would have a whale of a time! Cheers Ian
10. Certainly more expensive and heavier not too sure about the more powerful bit lol. Cheers Ian
11. Rats it`s such a shame you have done this now as over the last year I have spent rather a lot in the Sports Bike Shop. Richa goretex winter gloves and Forma adventure tour boots to name just 2 ! Oh and a set of tyres as well, better stop thinking about it now as the wallet is crying. Cheers Ian
12. He's washing his car not having a party, it doesn't take 20 people to wash a vehicle unless you work for the local council I quite agree . It's the assertion that you are beyond the reach of the law on private property that is false . Absolutely correct ! Apparently if I murder my wife at home I will still get hauled before the beak ! Might as well do it in Sainsburys then lol. Cheers Ian
13. Approx 500 yards lol. Typo!
14. PMSL you are probably spot on there. I once got pulled by one on the brow of a bridge on the main road and he didnt like it when I told him that was a dangerous place to stop some especially as it 8500 yards from local A&E with loads of ambulances. Pillock then gave me the whole delivering deathagrams speech and told me bikes were dangerous and my journey to Luton ( 25 ish miles) was a long way. I lost it and told him my license was older than him and I have ridden all over Europe while he was in nappies now please arrest me so we can make this official! Funnily enough he elected to get in his car and leave Cheers Ian
15. If it's on a private drive they can't stop him Totally agree with dynax thats the same as the prat that told someone he couldnt exercise in his front garden. Besides which I was always taught that the first step in proper maintenance was to keep a vehicle clean as you often spot things that could become a problem whilst cleaning. Preventative maintenance by a front line worker making sure he will be reliable in turning up for work. Hope he got the number of the twat so he/she can be shamed? Cheers Ian
16. It would be a wasted opportunity if you didn't go the distance and remove every piston and every seal to clean out those grooves . I did mine a couple of years ago and the difference was night and day . Totally agree with you and I have done it. Now just waiting for new pads and lines to arrive. Lines done as I found some damage to the left side one probably nothing but I dont take chances with brakes! Cheers Ian
17. Not me! I did see that someone was planning that! Caliper pistons now. I had fogotten how awful the finish on Tok's was to clean. Any tips greatly appreciated. Dont think my garage has need of cleaning lol n Cheers Ian
18. So when I got home from work at lunchtime I thought the front brakes looked a bit grubby so while the discs are lurking in the dishwasher I seem to be deep cleaning the front end lol. Going to order new pads and look at the calipers next. Cheers Ian
19. I had a CB13 when they came out and still have a soft spot for big naked bikes. I've eyed up the GSX14 a squillion times but haven't quite got round to riding one so it's interesting to hear your view. I think if I ever get round to selling the turbo bike I'll definitely take a spin on one. I believe the C.O.G on the CB1300 will feel considerably lower and I know the seat height is as I have parked the ZRX next to both models and the Honda is the lowest ! The GSX is the same seat height when the ZRX is on the paddock stand lol. Cheers Ian
20. Are you getting looks from the garden and comments like "Why is he taking more pictures of that bloody bike?" lol. Very nice and well looked after as I said. Cheers Ian
21. For anyone considering the GSX1400 I was staggered at how high up the weight felt and how high the seat height was. I was disappointed as I was considering another retro and even being of reasonable leg length I could see it was an embarrassing situation waiting to happen. Rich If you come down to see your relatives when this is all over set a bit of time aside and I am sure we can arrange for a ride out for you on the Busa to try it for size and I can show you some nice quiet roads on the Rex. Cheers Ian
22. I would say the distance from bum to peg is slightly more so less like the mating frog position. I find it ok on the knees and I am 6ft with 34inch inside leg. Longest journey on the Busa so far North Beds to Dorchester and back in one day about 173 miles each way and I was ok. I would say at slow speeds the wrists can ache after a while and a double bubble screen helps as well ! Cheers Ian
23. Excellent adaptation and a sort of compromise between the 2 ideas ! Well done. I think you were selling yourself a bit short on your fabrication skills lol. Very happy if I helped. Cheers Ian
24. Yeah noticed that lol (Bet you knew someone would bite!) Cheers Ian
25. In my defense I try to reply to stuff and contribute but I am back at work now and my time is somewhat limited. However on nice days I have the advantage of riding from Beds to Barnet 68 miles each way so I get my fix lol. Cheers Ian
